Don't see why you wouldn't just petition @mcmasterdonia directly to ask for their vote against if you agreed with the assessment that highlighted problems with your resolution. The delegate can vote in the opposite direction as long as they provide a reason, and "the author asked me to shoot it down" seems like a good enough reason to do it.

I could have. However the forum vote was quite strong on this. Residents may have felt that even a flawed proposal was fine for the short term.

My vote is now against.
