Kardonyszlavic Military Ration Mark 2 Announcement
The MK 2 is a military ration that is standard issue to all Kardonyszlavic military personnel and is the main source of nutrients that is offered to civilians for free. A single MK 2 is the approximate of one cooked meal. It contains ingredients to make a single meal for an average person (with instructions.) In order to provide protection from contamination, all ingredients are to be freeze dried and vacuum sealed within the ration tin. The job for a civilian is to boil water and cook a meal out of the ration. A cookbook is to become standard in all households.

Statistics: (Average) For a Single Meal
Calories - 833
Fiber - 10g
Carbohydrates - 100g
Protein - 17g
Fat - 22g
Various Assorted Vitamins and Minerals

The accuracy of the nutritional value of an MK 2 ration is not exact but attempts are made for exactness through controlled portion size and the types of food within the ration.

The ration has been noted by consumers to be "good enough" and "better than the last one.

The ration costs $10 to manufacture and is given to all citizens free of charge.

The fact that each citizen does receive 3 rations a day for free is worrisome for the economy.

Office of the Secretary of Human Services of Cojedes

Greetings from Rosario, Cojedes.

We are pleased to hear that the government of Kardonyszlav is beginning to take the health of their people more seriously and are realizing that the people were not receiving nutrients in the way they should have been. We believe in full that this is a step in the right direction for the country and applaud the beginning efforts. That being said, our government believes that there is still a lot to be done and our government is willing to offer assistance to the government in this endeavor. The Government of Cojedes is prepared to offer 200,000 tonnes of food, 1 million liters of water, medicine and a team of nurses and doctors to help with any healthcare needs the country may have. We hope that the government of Kardonyszlav will take our offer into consideration and that they will be willing to allow us in to give them help in this time of need.

All the best wishes,
Axel Cotilla, Secretary of Human Services
