General Information - The Anhurian Species is a curious creation of several factors, including random happenstance, genetic engineering, alien intervention, and interbreeding. Current theories of Anhuri Scholars place the species as originating from the Planet Delvena (early fossil records and lack of other primates on Andus) but the earliest known records and fossil evidence place the species are developing into intelligence on its binary partner Andus. Meaning some external force transplanted the entire species several megameters to a larger and more resource abundant planet.
The second major change in the Anhurian Species was during the days of the ancient Federation. Genetic Engineering was rampant along with interbreeding with other species in their realm. That was until the collapse that led to Anhurians trapped in underground cities for several millennia before once again spreading out across the Andulus System.

- Eyes: Anhurian eyes feature a slightly larger than average pupils with a very faint iris that usually features a light grey, pink, green and blue. The female' eye tends to be rounder with an oval divot near the nose and the male's tend to be slanted ending in a triangular divot near the nose. These divots contain a specialized nerve cluster that augments their visible spectrum of light to 280 nms to 650 nms. This spectrum of visible light results in 280-400 seeming purple and deep blues. Reds are also unusable to Anhuri being absorbed into black and dark orange.
Evolving from hunters, they are adept at perceiving details, especially in the field of movements. - Nose: Anhuri noses are generally flat being only slightly noticeable due to the slits on the side of their nose and the nostrils at the bottom. The slits being used to detect low level pheromones and the nostrils for other smells though their sense of smell tends to be below average.
- Ears: The ears of an Anhurian tend to take on a slightly rhombus appearance on males with two points one at the top and the other at the bottom with the females being slightly curved at the bottom. Their sense of hearing is slightly higher than humans, being between 45 Hz and 60KHz.
- Teeth: Anhuri develop three unique sets of teeth throughout their lives. Born with a set of 16 flat and somewhat soft and brittle used to aid in the consumption of food prepared by the adults. At about 8 years old their first set falls out and their longest used set of 28 teeth mostly sharp teeth grow in and stay for approximately 140 years until the last 50 years when they grow a set of 22 teeth that are similar to the dentition of an omnivore.
- Facial Structure: The average structure of the male Anhurian's face tends to be angular while the female's tends to be slightly rounded along the jaw line.

- Hair: In general Anhuri are born with white hair that turns grey or silver in adolescents before finally turning black towards the end of life.
- Appendeges: Anhuri have a two arms and two legs. Each arm hosting one hand with a five fingers each. Each leg hosting one foot with four toes.
- Body Structure: Anhuri lack the pronounced difference between sexes that most species distinguish. Overall body type and build between the two are similar and breasts in females are usually barely pronounced or small enough that clothing makes them unnoticeable.
- Acute Bioluminescence: Anhurian skin has developed specialized cells that allow them to consciously emit a low level ultraviolet light between 350 and 280 nms. Which the Anhuri worked into their communication.

- Voice: Anhuri tend to have a slightly high pitched voice that produces a slight Flanging effect, which can seem slightly annoying to other species. They also are able to produce a screech at 45 KHz well outside of the hearing of baseline humans.
