The All-House Union of Myroria
??? ?????, ??? ??????? ? ????? | Many households, all alike in dignity.
The motto of Myroria was adopted shortly after its independence and has not changed since. It is meant to reference the numerous noble families as well as the three Great Houses that comprise the nation's government. Considering the regular feuds, private wars, assassinations, robberies, and sabotage actions that occur between the Great Houses in an endless cycle of revenge, the motto is widely read ironically.
The Imperial Goyanean Federation
Der Kæsernet Gojan Føderasjon
"Deus lo Vult."
"God Wills It."
This is interpreted most commonly nowadays as the Messianist God willing the existence of Goyanes. It has been the legally authorized motto since 1825, instated shortly after the victory in the Second Nordic-Imperial War.
The Ascalonian Dominion
?????
"??????????"
"Let there be light across the realm."
This is an ancient Ascalonian saying that reflects the morning sun, which is a revered symbol in folk religion.
It came about when Mzeusia was formed, having beaten back the Thoonian oppressors and united the eleven tribes into one nation. Struggling to overcome the effects of the thousand years under Thoonian rule, and having to build a functional nation, Build the new path was exactly what they needed to do.
“Si Deus nobiscum quis contra nos”- “If God is with us, then who is against us”
Unofficial mottos:
FERT- “Foedere et Religione Tenemur”-“We are bound by treaty and by Religion”
“Deo, Honore, Patrio”-“God, Honour, Fatherland”
“Viva il Rei”-“Long love the King”
“Per la nostra liberte e la tua”-“For our freedom and yours”
Which are references to The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, by Heinlein (my favorite book of all time), and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas.
