Here one can find a list of the major empires of global history, both colonial and contiguous and from various points in time, all together! The Empires of Eras map will be updated periodically, but I can't be bothered to do a schedule so I'll just do it whenever a major change happens that necessitates an update.

Note from LL: I have decided to move this to The Lounge due to a few factors and have been thinking about it but the last update of this thread made me decide on the side of moving it.

This is a side project of a member of the forum and is not an actual project of Cartography and is not endorsed by Cartography and has never sought to be so. Its my opinion that the Carto Section should be kept more for the Cartography Department.
