Whereas peoples have been denied the right to publish text in certain languages:

And whereas the denial of that right is a violation of the freedom of expression:

And whereas publishing text in different languages can help peoples understand the text better,

Therefore, be it enacted by the excellent World Assembly, with the imperative consent and advice of the delegates and members, in the session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

All member states must allow all persons to publish text in any language

All member states must allow all persons to put up signage in any language

All member states will be encouraged to enforce this resolution

This resolution presents a number of valid arguments in terms of defending freedom of expression and access to information without language barriers. However, the lack of definitions, the non-delimitation of its scope, and the non-specification of exceptions, make the resolution ambiguous and certainly redundant with respect to what has already been legislated in the matter. In particular, GA Res. 30, Freedom of Expression, requires member states to respect the right to free expression and enforce it fairly and equitably when applying their laws. This certainly includes the right to publish texts and other writings, with no more limitations than those expressly mentioned in that resolution and in the applicable national laws.

For these reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote against the resolution.

By not understanding the background of this text (if any), and noting the lack of definitions, I vote against until I can find a reasonable explanation.

I defend freedom of expression without thinking twice, but this type of vague proposals with little (none, in this case) feedback from the drafting stage can be a joke, rather than an extension, of what has already been legislated in the matter.

Well this is a stupid one, "persons" what if some one has a nation filled with only robots and the only language they know is binary? The what ifs could go on.
