(OOC: While from what I've read, Modi is not exactly the model of liberal tolerance, you should really stop using 'fascist' to describe anyone who doesn't explicitly describe themselves as fascist. In an age where Pres. Obama is regularly called fascist and environmentalist groups called "ecofascist," that word has no meaning anymore.

Modi and the BJP's ideology is analogous to the Republican Party in the US. Economically liberal, but a strong social conservative/religious bent.
