Roleplay or forum games: I enjoy national RP. Thinking about life in my nation, its society and foreign relations. I don't enjoy war RP or endless character melodrama.
I played NS for a short time about 10 years ago, and then jumped ship for a new game called CN. I played that for 5 years before getting bored. CN is essentially dead now, but I still have the itch for a browser-based political simulator with a huge metagame. So here I am, back in NS. I spent a few days looking at different regions and talking to people, and I think I'll be happy in TNP for quite a while.
I actually got inspired to play NS after talking to some friends in Ukraine about the situation there. I only have a rough idea about Rumata right now, but as you might tell from my flag, the theme is generic post-Soviet country where things might have been a little different if I was in charge.
I am also a huge nerd. Both Kondratev and Rumata are characters from books by the Strugatsky brothers, famous Russian sci-fi authors. I have RP'd on and off in various formats and settings for 13 years, and spent most of my 5 years in CN e-politicking in various governments.
