The Unified State of the Stanh Yerä

The recent military operations of several nations in the former nation of Cronaal by request of its late leader, Laura Kray, have resulted in the Yeraenn assault on the Kray towers, located in the city of Ganjarus and the elimination of the warlord and criminal Chester 'Caledon' Kray. An international conference to determine the future governance and restoration of Cronaal shall be held in the nation of Tolima. All nations are invited to send representatives to spectate the conference, but only those significant to the liberation of Cronaal shall be allowed to cast their vote.

Involved Nations
  • Bustos
  • Nebula
  • Sadakoyama
  • Syrixia
  • The Rose League
  • Trinster
  • Xentherida
  • Yeraennus

Security forces for the conference will be provided for the host nation of Tolima, as well as any needed Translation services for the attending diplomats. Personal security forces and diplomatic teams are asked to be kept to the minimum necessary.

Tanzä V'oram, Minister of Foreign Affairs, High Captain of the Diplomatic Corps

Merilian Missive Regarding Cronaal:

As we were involved to varying extents in the issuance of humanitarian aid in helping Cronaal rebuild and get back on its feet, we would be more than delighted to attend this conference to see firsthand how the entire situation unfolds and what the future holds for the Cronaali nation and its people. The two of us represent the respective Department of Defense in our home country and as such are the most familiar with how our aid workers performed on the ground and what humanitarian assistance was provided.

In keeping with the terms surrounding external security forces being kept to a minimum, each of us shall be escorted by two honor guards which shall bring the total number in our delegation to nine people.

Councilor Damien Holbach of Kalti
Tribune Seran of Andalucia

The Kannexan Empire, as one of the warring parties in the Cronaali civil war, will send a representative to the Cronaal Conference. Special Envoy for Cronaal Herr Adam Schmied will attend.

Nebula will send three representatives: Emperator Caledon Antlerio, Socialist Party Chairman and diplomat Azurus Malachit, and Head of Foreign Affairs Johan Stoln.

Security will consist of five Nebulan SpecForce Guards along with two AFI agents.

We are to also send three representatives; Queen Mia, Princess Sophia, and Foreign Affairs Minister Christopher Williams.

The Allied States of Bustos will be sending Kathryn Rearick, First of Noggra, Formerly of Anntak, Lord Admiral of the 3rd Fleet, Mother of Relief, Knight of the Order of the Lion as our representative along with Urbane Praefect Iaera Patroclea Hemerus as Chief Information Officer. Their on site security will consist of six members of the Chairperson's Guard.

The Guslant Cabinet will be sending a delegation on behalf of it and the Queen, and thus, we announce the delegates we will be sending to spectate:

Makena Arendse from the city of Sino.

Scarlet Medina from the city of Pigletville.

Zachariah Ikin from the city of Sino.

Medina will also be serving as the guard of the trio, so no additional guards will be sent.

Your nations, collectively, failed to heed our advice and allowed your clumsy, uninformed, and needlessly violent bumbling to undo years of research and careful shepherding of the Cronaali people towards a more sustainable and healthy culture as well as competent and rational self-governance. Further, your nations have demonstrated more interest in expanding your own political power, furthering personal or national self-aggrandizement, and/or simply partaking in orgiastic recreational violence than any concern for the welfare of the Cronaali. As a final affront, some of you have wantonly murdered innocent researchers in the name of anti-intellectual paranoia.

For these reasons, and others undisclosed, Sadakoyama declines to take part in the final act of this complete farce.

Santa Mina poised to welcome Cronaal Conference
Tolima will shortly welcome representatives from regional powers as they arrive to decide the future of the ill-fated and long suffering nation of Cronaal. The island state has been shaken by years of conflict that has devastated the country, with foreign forces also involved to varying degrees of success. Tanzä V'oram, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Yeraennus, has called the summit on behalf of their nation following a final assault on Kray Towers, a complex located in the city of Ganjarus that resulted in the elimination of the warlord Chester Kray, known also as Caledon Kray.

Toliman President Richairo Mundo will not be at the conference, but praised the choice of the San Este retreat as the place for the meeting, announcing that security would be tight to prevent any breaking of the peace. San Este is owned by the billionaire Pedro Rivaldo Moses, a commodities trader who is Tolima's third richest person. Moses, speaking alongside the President, said that his staff - fully vetted and approved by Toliman and Yeraenn security services - would be on hand to provide delegations with anything they needed during the summit.

Meanwhile, in the run up to the meeting a group of Tolima's richest citizens has announced that they will foot the bill for housing, feeding and clothing all refugees affected by the conflict as part of La Gran Caridad, the Great Charity, a Toliman social convention whereby the great and good commit to acts of charity for the benefit of those unable to. The group of citizens is thought to number around three dozen, and have thus far committed billions to a fund to be administered jointly by the group and Yeraenn authorities.

The Khanate is regrettably unable to dispatch a delegation pending an investigation into the near-rescue of Lara Kray by a team of Imperial Ravens operating as part of an anti-WMD force in Cronaal. Colonel Naomi Chara of the Veist Security Forces is currently chairing said investigation and, if necessary, is willing to travel to this conference to deliver her findings.

We apologise for this late reply, however we will be sending E.V.A (Designation D-Tri-02721) to this meeting. This unit will require internet access to use its servers based in Trinster. We can bring the necessary hardware if this is not possible.

In order to safeguard what few Floregasque investments are left in Cronaal, representatives from the government of Floresque as well as the Bank Avelocci will be observing the proceedings.

(OOC: Sorry for the lateness.)

The Syrixian Empire will be sending an appointed envoy, Khali Singh, as well as an R.H.B. unit serving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dubbed "Arjun", to the conference.

The day of the conference had arrived. Tanzä had woken early to oversee last-minute preparations of the Retreat for the talks to be held later that day. He leaned against the wall behind the podium, watching the comings and goings of the staff, and noting the delegations arriving, both to participate and observe. He was dressed in his usual outfit, a slate vest over a white button-down and crimson tie, and held a mug of coffee in one hand, checking his phone with the other.

Tanzä waited for the delegates of the other nations to get seated, then stepped up to the podium. He took a sip from his coffee and cleared his throat. "Welcome, all. I am, as you would have already guessed, Tanzä V'oram, the High Captain of the Diplomatic Corps of the Stanh Yerä. Before we begin the conference, I would request that the Kannexan Delegation move to the observer's area, as they have made no relevant contribution to the Cronaali crisis we are gathered to discuss. Thank you.

To begin, let me provide a brief summary of the events that led to this conference being held. Three years ago, the late Queen Diane of Cronaal detonated a nuclear device in the Capitol City of Cronaal, Smithworks. This catastrophe led to the election of Laura Kray to the head of Cronaal and the transfer of the Capitol to Ganjarus. A year later, another crisis befell Cronaal. Chester Kray, brother of Laura Kray, began a coup d'etat against the former government, forcing Laura into exile and creating a state of anarchy for the next two years. Almost half a year ago, Laura Kray issued a distress signal from an unknown location within Cronaal, requesting the aid of any foreign nation that would hear the broadcast in rebuilding the nation. Those who responded, the delegations of which are here today, began various humanitarian and military operations across the country with the intent of re-stabilizing the country.

Almost a month ago, Khiara Algen, High Warden of the Stanh Yerä, and a group of Yeraenn special forces assaulted the Kray towers, which housed the then warlord Chester 'Caledon' Kray, successfully eliminating him. Laura Kray, who had died from a fall, likely caused by Chester, was found at the base of the tower and their body was recovered, was given a military burial outside the city of Ganjarus, and the Kray towers were destroyed. Today, we convene to discuss the future of Cronaal."

Herr Adam Schmied bowed to his fellow representatives. "I would ask the Yeraennean delegation to sit in the observers' section as well, considering Yeraennus has made no relevant contribution to world politics in the past forty years."

Khali Singh, the Syrixian envoy, scoffed to himself. Standing up and retaining his composure, however, he remarked, "Herr Schmied, Yeraennus convened this conference and was one of the nations helping in Cronaal. There is no problem with their delegation talking. Keep this conversation civil and be polite; we have only just begun."

The Guslant delegation sat quietly as the two delegations spoke. It appeared that this was going to be a long conference, and Cronaal would probably be left in its current state, unfortunately. Makena Arendse, a young woman with a dark complexion, and really short black hair rising inches above her head, watched the Kannexan delegation intently. That man reminded her of a former governor she once served. He was filled with anger, hate, and ruled out of fear. Well, when your inspiration is the leader of the Krieg Clan, what can you expect? That's another story though, maybe another time. She looked to her immediate right, to Scarlet Medina, a woman with curly blonde hair.

Scarlet was furious, how the hell could both parties speak of unity and peace, but demand things in the opening of a crucial conference? She wanted to get up and punch both of the delegations, but realized it was probably illegal. That, and she really wasn't in the mood to clean up any blood shed as a result. Oh well, if Cronaal ended up in rubble and a war was initiated at the conference, she could always boast about it to Ellis and his fiancé, though they probably wouldn't care. Akerman probably would though, she liked war almost as much as Scarlet

To Scarlet's right sat a man with tan skin and beautiful blond hair. This was Zachariah, known to most as Zach. He was a very good friend of Makena, and would probably date her if he ever felt that way again. Zach could feel the room become intense, between the two delegations, and Medina, Zach knew this probably would get bad, and quick. He wanted to say something, he wanted to break the tension, but Guslantis was powerless here. They were here as spectators, nothing more, nothing less.

"Our silence is going to be a contributing factor to the destruction of the nation of Cronaal," whispered Zach to Makena. "Sometimes holding on is more painful than letting go," replied Makena in a whisper, before sitting back in her chair. She had to be honest with her fellow representatives, this is when Cronaal finally would fall, and it would be because of a lack of cooperation. Leah wasn't here to save them now, and unity seemed utopian.

The League's Delegation consisted of the respective heads of the Defense Departments of Kalti and Andalucia. They watched and listened as the conference got off to a bad start with the Kannexan delegation already demanding that the Yeran delegation stand down. Shaking his head in disgust, Councilor Damien Holbach of Callaici leaned over to his colleague, Tribune Seran of Andalucia and whispered: "well this is off to a fabulous start... I can already tell that this conference is going to cause more problems than it will solve. Honestly they should just turn Cronaal into a humanitarian protectorate with a force of international peacekeepers to help lead the country back to the path of peace and security." Chuckling to herself Tribune Seran was lost in thought: "and who better to lead that effort than The Rose League who has one of the strongest organizations for the provision of peacekeeping and humanitarian aid. All the other countries here at this conference are just looking out for their own interests while publicly they claim to be providing aid, food and shelter for the Cronaali people."

Antlerio stood to give his opening remarks. "Nebula is pleased to see that these conferences are finally taking place. We wish to see a government set up in Cronaal that will protect the people and will allow for peace in the region."

Kathryn Rearick continued to remain seated with her CIO to her right. Iaera was diligently taking notes and leaning over to Kathryn, whispering comments after each representative spoke. Kathryn, simply nodded, giving acknowledgement on what she had to say.

In all honesty, Kathryn couldn't care less about the outcome of these talks. She completed Strategic Corporate Expansion IX and earned her peerage. Now the head of her own household, a Lord Admiral, Knight of Order of the Lion, as well as soon-to-be inducted into the Society of the Pyramid. She had accomplished her dreams of true power within the Allied States; waiting on the official declaration to be made by the Duke himself, and she'll be a Countess. There was talk about another possible title once these proceedings ended. All she wanted to do right now was focus on Relief and her newly minted household, not bickering over a failed state.

Oh, right. And then, there's a bill to send.

(Will TIA fail? Will Cronaal be abandoned? Find out next time on "Will somebody actually post!?")

"The Nebulan military will be happy to withdraw from Cronaal's mainland on the grounds that we are allowed to retain control over the Kalinins," said Antlerio. "However, if the Cronaali government wishes our soldiers to remain to keep the peace we will gladly do so."

Cronaal:
(Will TIA fail? Will Cronaal be abandoned? Find out next time on "Will somebody actually post!?")
(OOC: I'm mainly role-playing my nations as an observer who view the other nations as imperialistic fools who only want to cause more mayhem to line their pockets instead of helping the common man. So... don't look at me to post.)

(Well, we can have our representative arrive to present the findings of our Inquiry as to missing Lara Kray)

(OOC: As the OP of this thread, and due to lack of interest from multiple parties, I'm calling this thread done. I believe that Laura Kray was located by the Yerän taskforce already, so there's no point there. Reparations of Cronaal will continue basically in the background until Cronaal reintroduces his country in the 2020s, as this happened in 2018. Funding will come from myself and Tolima primarily, though countries may contribute for what amounts to a "You did it!" sticker. Sorry to those that were interested in continuing this.)
