Hello fellow nations of the region,
On behalf of Brirari's Ministry of Defense, I am contacting you regarding a conflict occuring on the southern waters of the region (and more specifically of Brirari). At 0200 hours today, a friendly destroyer on a routine patrol of the southern seas (roughly 12 klicks out) was destroyed when many small unidentified targets swarmed the ship and opened fire on it. Prior to the ships final breath before going under, the ship radioed for help to the harbor towers. The following information was recieved:
Our Request
Currently, Brirari is in the middle of several trades with a couple nations for water and air based military equipment, however the enemy caught us off guard (especially due to our lack of homeland defenses). Our primary navy is roughly four hundred klicks from us assisting another nation in peacekeeping, and will not make it back in time. Every day this new found enemy is moving troops closer, and we have no way of identifying who they are. Our request is for any nation who has available navy or airforce assets to deploy them in the Brirarian Waters. This will protect our nation, as well as the security of the whole region. Brirari's key defensive position in the south of the nations is ideal for control of southern waters and we urge any nation of The Northern Pacific to assist in this defense.
On this day, the lives of many young navy men and women were lost, and we pray for their families. Attacks of this caliber are not tolerated and should be dealt with in a very defensive way before our new foes decide to strike inland nations.
