The below proposal has been brought to the floor of the Assembly. I hereby opening voting on the passage of this act.
Rules of this vote shall be as followed.
- Acceptable votes. Aye - for Passage of the Proposal; Nay - for Failure of the Proposal; Abstain - Unable or unwilling to take a stance.
- Voting shall last for 5 days ending at 3:00 PM; 26nd Feb 2016.
- Must reach a simple majority for passage.

After monitoring and considering the situations that befall the Syrixian Empire time and time again, the Democratic Union feels steps are necessary to maintain the safekeeping of member nations.
THE DEMOCRATIC UNION THEREFORE RESOLVES-
The Syrixian Empire's full membership in the Democratic Union shall be revoked immediately.
The Syrixian Empire's membership shall be reduced to Observer Status immediately in place.
All obligations that member nations have to the Syrixian Empire, during wartime or otherwise, shall become optional upon the revocation.
This revocation will last until the Syrixian Empire resolves all of its current conflicts and maintains a stable and peaceful government for a month.
