OOC Question

Grammarist.com:
"Dwarfs is the standard plural of the noun dwarf. Dwarves is a newer variant popularized (though not invented) by English author J.R.R. Tolkien in his fantasy fiction works, including The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings."
As in miner dwarfs? Far over the Misty Mountains cold? I thought Mummers were more piratey.

They are piratey, supposed to be small to move unnoticed. I think hobbits would be a more accurate way of looking at them, but we've simply referred to them as dwarves.
