Nebula-Syrixia Alliance

Nebula

TNPer
In the wake of the events in Guslantis, the governments of Nebula and Syrixia have been forced to rethink their hostile stance on one another. Both sides began to reconsider their position in the global system, and a series of backroom negotiations initiated by Syrixia culminated in the signature of a mutual defense pact by both parties. Although certain members of both governments question the wisdom of this, the leadership believes that it is in the best interest of their nation to defend each other.

What the Watching Nebula's government says is absolutely true; and we couldn't have said it better. We believe that two former enemies banding together in friendship, if anything, shows what peace and friendship can do and sends a message to the Krieg Clan, the Patriarchate of Cape El and the former King-Regent Albert, whose regency Syrixia no longer recognizes. This message is for them to cease the evil they are committing, to step down and dissolute, and to allow Eras to come to peace once more, and hopefully this time for good.

Either way, Nebula and the Syrixian Empire have now signed a pact of mutual defense.

A Letter From Queen-Empress Amelia:
To the leaders of The Watching Nebula and Syrixia,

I was very happy to receive the news of your alliance today. To set aside your differences and sign a pact of friendship such as this is an impressive example of what diplomacy may achieve. This is surely the best course going forward for peace between your two nations. The message you send of peaceful resolution is a strong one to those nations of Eras that who continue to cause trouble and commit acts of sinister and malicious intent.

May your alliance be long and prosperous,

Queen-Empress Amelia of The Lancerian Empire

(OOC: Did hell freeze over? Because I'm pretty sure if it hasn't already, it will with Nebula and Syrixia signing a pact of friendship.)

The Khan, whilst on the ground for a few moments gave the following statement "What in the seven hells of the Sun King?! Well... good, now come on..."

No comment from the Kannexan Aussenministerium. A hundred or so protesters have been seen burning the Syrixian and Nebulan flags in Ottoplatz Square, Manhatt City.

There are rumors that Norvalkin President Randal Q. Hacker III, upon waking from a restful night's sleep, and consuming his usual morning coffee, went back for a second cup upon hearing of the news from Syrixia and Nebula, and immediately upon consumption of said coffee entered into a meeting with his presidential cabinet.

Officially, however, no comment from the Norvalkin government.
