So it's now occurring to me that pretty much everyone in NPTO except Kannex (bless his soul) is for my suspension. While I understand why, the War itself is over, and I'm moving on from the past.

So what's next? Obviously Syrixia wants to re-enter at some point, and with the Helmebaine Just War Theory reforms I doubt a war of the scale we witnessed is going to happen again. Nebula has a new Emperator, Cronaal is reunited, Rhuvanland is free again, and Syrixia's suspension will probably turn off the Syrixian war machine for good.

What I mean by that is, with the war over, Syrixia is content with not taking charge because there is no communism to take a stand against in the name of muh freedom. What Syrixia needs is to settle down, re-orient its industries away from the war effort, and just reeeeelax.

Now, with the end of the War, and with the dawn of this new peace and content calmness Syrixia is entering, it begs the following questions. Is there an NPTO suspension period? How long is it? When can Syrixia re-enter? And how can Syrixia help the world and itself to move on from the War?
 
To be perfectly honest, the NPTO vote is too close to call at the moment and does not end until tomorrow due to a twenty-four extension I enacted.

It doesn't even make sense. What are you suspending him for? Leaving aside the fact that Syrixia was responding to quick security-threatening situations and had no time to utilize the NPTO, what good would a suspension do? A censure would fare well enough, if your sentiments towards Syrixia's methods of self defense were strong enough.
 
Once the Auburn festival is over, I'm going to start my terrorists-hijack-nuke thingy, although a) I need to find out who'd be willing to partake in it and b) I need a good name for it.
 
I can't keep it in any more. I think I thought for five full minutes on this.

The reason, after the Mad Queen's War ended, that I didn't use the NPTOPF is because I wanted to strengthen relations with Kannex! I wanted to remain neutral and use the NPTOPF but I had to fight because if I didn't, I thought Kannex as a nation would dislike Syrixia. Kannex himself said, for example, that if I did not fight in Rhuvanland and instead chose to remain neutral, I would be abandoning the Rhuvish and the Helmebaine Alliance, and both the Rhuvish and the Alliance, most definitely the Rhuvish, would hate me!

I'm sorry, Kannex, I just couldn't keep it in any longer. I think I'm starting to cry a bit so I'll wrap this up. All I hope is that my confession doesn't ruin our relations. I don't want to lose what allies I still have by my side. :cry:
 
What you did was right -- you were honoring the Helmebaine Alliance treaty. Some folks with ulterior motives in the NPTO have no concept of honor nor faith.
 
You keep bringing up this idea of an "ulterior motive", but I'm still not understanding exactly what you think is the grand plan being put in place.

Any ulterior motive you may think we have, we welcome the Kannexians to bring it forward to the Forum and its members.

Just as a side note... The Callaicians were the voice of dissent (along with one member from Tir na Andalucia) on the Forum d'Entesa's decision to vote aye in suspending Syrixia from the NPTO (so four against and five for). So don't think that just because the Confederation as a whole voted one way means that is how the three nation's feel.
 
It's clear from the failed Guslant-Nebulan Union that Guslantis is what you call a gold-digger. Nebula was going around with his red imperialism invading countries like there was no tomorrow and Guslantis wanted a part of that, but Guslantis itself was too weak to do that. Now, the socialist Guslantis, having failed at getting a socialist-communist alliance from Nebula, wants to weaken the Helmebaine forces starting with their head, Syrixia.
 
Kannex, since it seems evident that you have issues with socialist style countries, might I point out that the Federation of Kalti is currently led by and has been led by the Social Democratic Party for the past number of years which espouses social democracy, a mix of socialism and capitalism.

Anyways, to stay on track with this topic... Syrixia I'm sure you'll find some way to get involved in something. Enjoy the upcoming festival being thrown by Cronnal (do try and not start something with Nebula) or even throw a festival on your own showing off your nations culture.

As long as you aren't busy invading other countries, my country is fine with you. It's just some countries can't hold it in. And yet other countries pretend to hold it in, but create shadow alliances behind your back.

The vote doesn't end until tomorrow (15/8) at 15:15 my time (AZMST) so there is still time for other NPTO members to vote or change their vote based on the new evidence brought forward.

I believe we should talk about the suspension period when the vote ends and we know for sure if you are suspended or not. I do, however, believe that the suspension will last past the end of the Auburn Festival, and hopefully, we can get negotiations underway for the damages, casualties, and et cetera associated with the war as a whole. We'll just have to see how everyone changes now that the bombs and troops are gone.

How about...say, until the beginning of September? If you guys want to make it longer or shorter that's fine.

I feel a bit better now that I made that confession about relations with Kannex earlier. :blush:
