Parallel cultural evolution. Our people made the Ring movies but they are set in Sadakoyama instead of Japan.Syrixia:May I just ask who this Christ person is, Kannex? I thought this wasn't Earth?
If we can have English, we can have Jesus Christ.Syrixia:May I just ask who this Christ person is, Kannex? I thought this wasn't Earth?
Language doesn't enter into it. English in Eve could've developed just as easily as Syrixian or German or the now-non-canon-but-still-a-decent-example Eknorve.Kannex:If we can have English, we can have Jesus Christ.Syrixia:May I just ask who this Christ person is, Kannex? Cronaal:Whatdya mean by 2 days?
Why can't we? We have God in both RL and TNP. Except here we call him Syrixia and he always tells us what we can and can't do.Syrixia:Language doesn't enter into it. What matters is that Jesus Christ is a real world figure and it's absolutely crazy for the EXACT SAME PERSON to appear in a fictional world. Maybe you could use his likeness but the EXACT PERSON himself is not quite alright.
EDIT: Wait, what if we made our own version of Jesus like Esquarium did? Ceretis and I are thinking of having a church conference of sorts; maybe other churches could join in. We could decide our Jesus' origins in the OOC thread.
Sorry, dude. Sadakoyama was atheist before atheism was cool. We don't have gods you probably haven't even heard of yet.Nebula:Well, dibs on atheism!
I haven't done so because I don't know what to say on Burning Mountains, putting that as priority over Añola.Syrixia:All worship My noodly appendage.
Also, @Cronaal: Añola hasn't heeded Syrixia's threat to open negotiations for the hostages' release or else yet:
That's where you're wrong. One could argue he's the son of God and blah blah blah, but I will say he's a historical figure and thus he's an accident of history just like German, English, and other languages and social, cultural, and historical developments.Syrixia:Language doesn't enter into it. Phew. Was worried for a sec.Bootsie:It's not. It's what Kyle Hall thinks.
No, and don't call me JackTrue Sebland:Isn't this a threadjack?
I don't know, I've never seen it. Read the first book and was done with the whole thing.Kannex:Pisc, if that's what actually happens in the latest GoT, I hate you because I haven't gotten up to it yet. :c
