Would anyone be interested in a historic RP

That's right you were founded in the late 1700s.
I looked over the other thread's timeline and it actually takes place around 1750-1782 or so. It looks like this thread won't cause much issue in the timeline unless it's right out of the gate for Kannex
 
I don't mind what you guys do, but the nature and breadth of my participation will be dependent on the era in question.
 
I want the Empire to cooperate with Nebula, as Germany and Japan did in WWII. (Psst, Italy didn't really do anything useful.) Perhaps against the Syrixo-Nebulan Axis can be three main Allied powers and their supporters, similar to the US, USSR and UK and their supporters. I'm imagining this as like a 1600s-1700s TNP version of World War II.

And I want this to be canon as well.

Oh, and maybe Cronaal can join the Axis too, judging by how psychotic he is IRL. :lol:
 
Any world war in the 17th or 18th century will be realllyyyy reaaaaally slow.

I suggest we all read up on the Seven Years' War in preparation for this RP.

Nations intrinsically have strengths and weaknesses unless they're Godmodding. Alliances usually are made in a manner to cover one's weakness with another's strength while your strength covers their weakness. As well they may choose to double down on a particular strength and hope or attempt that their weakness is not taken advantage of by their enemy. Also some nations that are well balanced may all around not be very weak in any particular category, but their total strength is weak; but when joined with one or more others like them, they equal one very strong all around force.
 
I hate to be the one to go off-topic, but what if we did a WWII-era RP? I have a gap in my history where WWII should be and I'm currently passing it off as Kannex being isolationist and merely selling weapons to the Allies, but it would be interesting to have our very own WWII or even WWI.
 
I recently removed IRL WWII from my history too, and it took a huge chunk out of my history. I'd love to have a WWII RP. However, we shouldn't forget this. The Syrixian Empire actually did win battles; I wanna show that.

How about mid-late 1700s (that way Kannex should be able to RP), colonisation is in full swing, and somebody (it doesn't really matter who) lands on Hiskjriaana thinking its the new world or something (Hiskjriaana was VERY scarcely populated then, kind of like Iceland), and they find a huge deposit of some sort of a natural resource, so they start a colony there, but then I find out so I come to take it back, said state wants to keep it because of said resources, war ensues, etc. etc.? We could still probably work in alliances...
 
Do you think one incident would be enough fuel? Plus it seems it might be another war saga.
