Hello one and all! I'm the Lawmaker, also known as the Prince of the Minorlands. I hope you'll all accept me as a new member of this place. A quick question I have(not a serious one): Going against much of what I believe in real life, my principality is ruled by a conservative, fairly authoritarian government. Will I have to liberalise?

There is no question about us accepting you. We accept everyone everyone here including you!
As far as your Nation State goes, you are free to give it whichever government form you want. You have the freedom to establish whichever government you see fit in your Nation State.
By the way, feel free to participate in our government. The process is easy and there are many option such as the Regional Assembly, North Pacific Army, or Diplomatic Corps. In addition to this, we have a very creative role playing community.
