Annoying Stereotypes about your home

Lennart:
Archegnum:
British things are not tiny.

Not everything grinds to a halt at 4 o'clock in the afternoon for tea.

We do not all speak posh.

We do not listen to 'God Save the Queen' on repeats.

Not everything in Britain is old.

Yes, we do in fact believe that British English is a LOT better than American English - just saying.

Toodle-Pip!
So, all I always believed is a lie! O.O

C'mon, I even learnt the lyrics! And also Jerusalem's... Pff just tell me you don't like football either and I'll be moving elsewhere xD
By football, do you mean American Football, Rugby Football or English Football (soccer, to Americans)?

Football, football, Association football, Premier League football, I mean the one actually using your foot and a ball.

Not that boring, if a good technical level. I agree other "kinds" of football, especially Gaelic and Aussie footy are a lot more action and fun even at an amateur level, but a good match from a top league (Mostly Premier League anyway) can be amazing.

Also, check the World Cup this summer, England, Australia and USA qualyfied and I hope they do great.

USA? Probably not getting to last 16, they seem to have tough competition within their group. Maybe Portugal slips, but I'm not counting on that.

England is going to be in a very interesting spot. Italy and Uruguay have pretty good teams, although I don't know much about Costa Rica.

Aussies are kinda dead, with the Spaniards and the Dutch in the same group :/

What? World cups are always full of surprises, they're 11 vs 11 men each, after all.

I'll be in England... Naturally supporting England. And will be happy if Australians and Americans do good as well. But I guess I'll be glad enough when somebody kicks Spain out anyway xD

Great Bights Mum:
And here I thought he was talking about New Jersey.
AHAHAHAHA!

Ok, annoying stereotypes about The South (North Carolina)...

Some people think that all we do in the South is sit around drinking moonshine, spot Elvis at the local Piggly-Wiggly convenience store, raise hell in four wheel drive vehicles, see UFO's all the time and have sex with our relatives.

None of that is true. I ain't never seen a UFO! :P

Actually, I like negative Southern stereotypes. It keeps the Yankees from moving down here to retire!

Well, that wasn't weird at all (!). I guess it wouldn't help to say that we are doing Black Rights in the USA before WW2 for our GCSE History topic...

I genuinely hope I didn't offend anyone by saying that.

Ah, yes, those thrifty Scots. In their kilts. Playing bagpipes, an instrument that can mimic the sound of several cats in extreme pain.
