I concur. Whoever win's the Delegate election must see to this immediately. It is of the first importance. Did we agree on a particular variety of cheese just yet?

Well Cheddar is the one true cheese, of course - but I think brie might make a better emoticon.
 
I've posted my idea about possibly a non-fixed elected legislature and probably more innovative, off-site voting between non-forum regional residents; is this something you'd be willing to consider running a test referendum with and entertain as a possible direction for the future constitution?

Brie is good. I like brie. It's fairly innocuous as far a cheeses go. Perhaps there could be multiple cheese related emoticons so that various levels of cheesiness can be expressed.

Absolutely. The idea of various test experiments to determine what garners a better response in terms of participation as well as to test the efficiency of new procedures in government are a great idea. They wouldn't have to be binding, of course, and such test referendums would give us some good demographic information that we can use to more accurately represent the region as a whole.
 
The big question that I have to ask everyone (imagine, a candidate asking this question) is do you want more of the same-old same-old or do you want something new that will kickstart the region?
 
With the approaching run-off elections, I invite any and all questions so that I can supply more detailed answers than the debate format can produce.

But seriously folks, while turnout for the elections is somewhat better than it has been in the past, it's still a small number. Get out and vote.
