Have you ever wondered how to administrate an InvisionFree forum? Have you ever wanted to know how defenders do what they do? Have you ever wished you know about the history of NationStates or even of the FRA? Want to learn some physics, chemistry, French, or math? Perhaps even a little about theology?

If you answered yes to ANY of those questions, I know exactly where you should go: the University of Equinox. The U of E currently offers the above classes and more, and other classes are being added to the list as we speak! Over an 8 week trimester, you can learn about these subjects and earn credit towards a degree from the University of Equinox. Courses are taught by knowledgeable authorities in their fields of study who are working hard to share their wisdom.

The first trimester will start tomorrow (don't worry, trimesters only exist for administrative purposes-- you don't actually have to go to all 3). Like I said, it's 8 weeks long, and at some point during that time, your courses will start and finish some time later. How courses are run (weekly, biweekly, daily, etc.) is up to the professor, so you'll have to find out when the class starts. Because courses only have to start and finish within the 8 week period, new courses can always be added. Unfortunately, you cannot sign up for a class after it has started, meaning the longer you wait, the fewer your choices.

Not a citizen of Equinox and not interested in being one? Not a problem! Minimum requirements are being an ambassador, so all you have to do is sign up on the forum and you're good!

So go on over to http://www.z4.invisionfree.invalid/EquinoxNS and register. We'll be waiting!

PS. If you're interested in teaching a course or would like to request one, there are topics for those too. Share your mind; the U of E listens!

Wolf's (Somewhat Bias) History of the FRA

Once upon a time there were three regions, North Pacific, Global Right Alliance and Jethnea. These three regions like defending but they didn't like the ADN or the RLA that much because those groups were mean. So they created an organization called the Founderless Regions Alliance, which they expected many founderless regions to join.

And so the happy-go-lucky group went and over time they got many new member regions even if only one or two of them were actually founderless. They defended everyone: the hardly alive regions, the semi-active regions, the regions full of bigots, spammers, Nazis, griefers, and general assholes because, lets face it, everyone should be able to run their region the way they want right? (Well, except if they want to raid...because raiding is wrong)

So it went until, one day, there came a big horribly mean Wolf and a guy named Lenny, who together raided one of the FRA's few founderless regions. The FRA had never had to deal with such a problem before, seeing as they had so very few founderless regions in their ranks, and were not quite sure how to react. Then that nasty old Wolf and a Hindu god (#12560) named Gates forced the region to resign from the FRA. This made the FRA very mad so, in reaction, they broke all their rules and became much like the defender organizations of the past they didn't like so much. But breaking all their rules still didn't work and the region the nasty trio took refused to rejoin the FRA, although that didn't matter much seeing as the FRA refused to recognize its resignation anyway. From that day forward the FRA became very moody and upset about even the smallest thing.

And that, my friends, is how the FRA became the new ADN.

THE END! :w00t:

Or at least, you know, that's how I see it. :P

That made me chuckle even if it is factually incorrect.
