It's all gone very quiet...

hate to be paranoid, but this current administration was built ona promise of activity, and from the outside it seems to have gone incredibly quiet (with a few exceptions).

Could ministers give us a run down on what they have been up to?

I've been in RL, but you're right, all's quiet on the western front...

Perhaps *cough* new banners *cough cough* would do the trick??

The regional assembly has been busy as always, yeah sometimes it feels like I'm keeping it going through sheer force of will but we just had four votes on four crucial constitutional amendments. And now we're tackling the extremely tough call on the Security Council.

Maybe we should be happy that gatesville isn't up to anything... yeah you're right they are definitely up to something.

I would not know where to start in putting the banners into a scrolly thing.

Last word I had was that tres was going to clean up the images and make them do clever stuff.

I can upload the finished articles in a trice.

I was on vacation and couldn't get to a computer. I intend to continue training the new NPA recruits, though with finals for the next week, it will be intermittent at best.

I would presume Flem was referring to our seemingly somewhat AWOL Delegate rather than the RA; which you've been doing a sterling job sheparding around Sniffles.

Training? When did we start? I applied to the NPA and presuming that my masking was changed, haven't really heard back.

I also applied to be Deputy MOIA to help out Ator people and he hasn't even responded back.

Yea, this lack of communication from people in the government is stellar <_<.

Sniffles, you are doing a good job in the RA and I applaud you for it ^_^ :ADN:

Courts still here. Just....not much to do. Someone wanna sue someone or something? Challenge the constitutionality of the constitution? Ahwell.

for the record, i know the chief justice is ivan, but who are the other justices? :ADN:

I will not rest until everyone knows the difference between "your" and "you're" and the correct usage thereof!

Next: Their, there and they're.

Truly, we need more men of your conviction. Keep up the good fight.

RL has slowed me down a bit these past days, limited time on NS, i'll be working on the MoEA a lot next week, I'll be assigning ambassadors, and i'll be checking inactive and active embassies/consulates.

The American holiday(s) tend to slow things down for many.

The Court is working on the final version of its internal policy for the selection of temporary Justices in the event the sitting Judges can not provide unified opinion on issues brought to the Judiciary.

I was carefull two say "with a few ecxeptions' becos the example of some has been exemplry.

Your all grate. Especialy Sydia. Your espshuly grate.

And I love you're avatar.

It would have been nice if our Speaker had given a heads upto me and Elu how and when he was planning to put the SC proposals up to a vote.

As it is both contain references to impeachment, and of course, that amendment passed immediately prior to the SC amendment vote, so no one had a chance to update their proposals first.

I've reopened the discussion on the treaty amendment and have put a compromise forward; at least one of the nays have indicated support for the compromise.

After Sunday, TAR13 will be over, and I'll have some time to revive other proposals others brought forth that still need to be enacted, such as an election law. I'm also thinking about bringing a motion to reinstate the formal discussion period. It seems to me many are used to that procedure, and it might allow more consensus befoore proposals go t a vote.

This is a more annoying fragment because. It shows a clear lack of punctuation ability and. The one other thing I personally hate is. The lack of paragraph usage in. An essay-like speech because it makes it so damn hard to read. And shows no sense of order. But so far I've. Only ever come across one guy who didn't put a SINGLE space in something like a 1000 word post. Most frustrating.

I informed you about the way the vote was going to be organized here. On Nov 21st, 3 weeks ago. Also I have a voting schedule, where voting is always continuous by grouping amendments and bills separately week after week.

The results of the Recall>Impeachment vote was clear to everyone since Dec 1st, when the last vote was cast. It is up to the authour to update their own legislation, it is not up to the Speaker to go around changing other peoples proposals as s/he sees fit.

It would have been remiss to weigh down all the other amendments with the 10 day requirement, so I let that vote go first. Then in hopes of you and Elu finding a compromise, I gave the SC a little bit more time. All of this is a matter of public record.

Please get your facts right before slandering me and please don't hijack other peoples threads just so you can do drive by on how I do my job.

I don't assume that a voting thread is closed, and the result official, until it is in fact closed and the result is declared.

And no, you never told me anything qbout exactly when you were going to put them to a vote as in an actual date, or how you intended to handle the SC vote.

In any event, there was no way to update the proposals on the recall/impeachment language in either proposal until the recall amendment was officially adopted. You should have realized this on your own, and asked both Elu and I to update the SC proposals to reflect that enacted constitut9ional amendment before opening the vote. You didn't so as it is, all you managed to do is to force the need for yet another proposal to fix that language, assuming either proposal gets a 3/4ths, and by the way you've actually organized that vote, it may be both proposals may be back to the drawing boards yet again.

And finally, this thread isn't a voting thread so your attack is out of line. I have the right to express my opinion, especially as where there's a legitiamte basis for criticism.

My attack? I'm merely addressing all your supposed issues in this random thread. Whether you accept them is none of my concern.

I'm here, sorry I've been busy. Thanksgiving and now the end of semester and final exams. I will update the news box today and try and figure out when we will have the TNPAC-4.

I have to admit, my visits are becoming less and less eventful (not me visiting but the content of the forum on my visits).

My watch tells me we're overdue a rogue delegate, and it seems the North Pacific can't function without one! Motion to make Ivan the delegate?

Six days away from his NS nation. As ever, a leader we can count on.

Oh look, it was forseen too:

I may as well voice the one question in my mind.

We are at war, where the delegate is the one key defence in the case of an invasion. we have seen before how a temporarily inattentive delegate can lose us the region.

You have a certain history of suddenly disappearing for long periods. generally without notice. If this were to happen while you were delegate it could be disasterous. What guarantee can you offer that you will remain active throughout your delegacy?

If you buy the excuses next time (and there will be a next time), you're a sap. And a maroon.

I'm inclined to cut some slack here (well, I would do!), as far as I'm concerned the most minor RL inconvenience comes way above the greatest NS calamity.

Yes, but as a feeder delegate you should be expected to log on at least once a day...I think we all have seen what happens otherwise...

I'd love to have somebody who needs a case brought up. It seems I chose the most boring cabinet position to apply for. So far I've had on case, and that was pretty simple. :pinch:

Well Chowda, perhaps you could help me with something? :ADN:

Getting rid of that bloody ninja would be a nice start... Gov have you ever made a post that doesn't end in a freakin ninja face? :P
