CLO slot

Nominations have closed. Candidates please tell us what fresh take you'll bring to the position and to promise us all that you'll stick around.

Alright, basically, this is why I feel I would make a strong candidate for the CLO.

I've been in TNP for about two months now, but I've always had a fairly good idea of the activities going on here, and I know the people well. I am familiar with the constitution, and am knowledgable in the ways of NationStates; I've been in the game for about 4 years now.

I just feel that I bring a neutral approach to the CLO, unbiased; something that is extremely important for the position because looking at the other candidates I really don't believe any one of them is more qualified as an active, unbiased candidate running for the CLO. I am the founder of a neutral region, I've had plenty of experience in other regions, especially with regards to government security and checks and balances.

I'm active (I don't post a whole lot, but I read everything, just don't feel the need to say something here unless I have to), so that is not an issue.

Basically, I just bring a smart fresh approach to the position.

Vote for me, the end. :)

I have pledged myself to be more active and I'm a libertarian in NS. I believe in a firm check and balance and separation of powers, and I will do all that is necessary to make sure the executive branch does not exceed their mandates. I'm a firm believer of justice and protecting the rights of all citizens.

I bring a fresh perspective to things but I am not a stranger to NS. I have a wide array of government experience from Foreign Affairs to Defence to Immigration and can draw upon my experiences in those areas and bring them here and help better serve the region as a member of the CLO

Something tells me that refraining from posting a manifesto is the biggest vote winner in our region!
Never thought of it that way.

What will I bring to the CLO?

Experience in:

Numerous government positions, long time exclusive residence (with the exception of NPA experience and fighting rogue delegates) in TNP

NPIA experience

NPA experience

Diplomatic Experience especially in rectifying the presence of an unwanted foreign force through purely diplomatic means during the Crimson Order incident.

A proved track record with negotiating with such elements

I know a rogue when I see one

I prefer rhetorical flourishes over manifestos. ;D
