Sorry about this.

I literally have about 10 other emergencies to deal with (a presentation next week, examinations in two months, a political social networking site that has unexpectedly been handed over to me, a big forum whose entire last year of posts just got blown to hell, to name just four). I'd say I'll get the scanner back up and running, but it's just impossible within the next month.

I can send you the source, but it won't make you happy - despite repeated plans to improve it, it's still a bug-filled mess that is about as tricky to get to work as coding from scratch.

I know of two other scanners that apparently work fine; Eluvatar's is one. Hersfold knows the other, I think.

Passwords are the same (if you lost them, PM me). Afaik, Hersfold and GBM have access; if they see fit to grant anyone else access, I have no problem with it.

It's still a completely buggy and ridiculously written program, and I can't guarantee for any of its data. But I realized that it works when set up correctly. So version 3 can wait till later.

For now, I hope this is enough.

Kitabo was a little lazy during the last weeks, even falling out of the Top 10. :tb1: I think I need to push some buttons now.
 
Korinna, thanks for taking the time to do this.

A suggestion has been made as to how this can be done on a more continuous basis, but as part of a bigger proposal to augment resources for several ministries, it's preliminary, but the fact the the endo-monitoting script is wonky points to the need to have a reliable back-up system for this and other things.
 
Huh, I'm back at 250 again?

Interesting that I'm apparently bouncing :wave: around 250; I remember being at 250, then 248, and now I'm at 250 again? Oh well. I'm not tarting any more and have not been for quite some time now.

I think I like being at 250 so I'll say here until further notice :)

Well, he would have to leave until the region up-dates and plus if he moves his TNP nation out of TNP he forfeits his positions and status in the government. He should just drop his UN.
 
Unless I misunderstand, Matt resigned his UN nation from the UN, and nothing more. I pretty sure he is not leaving the region, since he is interested in the MoC position and he was elected to the SC.
 
EM, would you please consider rejoining the UN and endotarting back up to the 200ish level? You were, and could be if you are willing to put up with it, one of the people that made our region more secure. Of course, I do understand if you don't want to bother tarting when there's no reason to, it's a bit of a pain in the butt. :P

I on the otherhand find that the security of the region is worth it. I'll tart some this week....even if Eras didn't ask me!! :bye:
