So... if you live in the Bay Area or near it, and you feel like coming to a NS Meetup, there shall be one happening on July 14th.

Date: July 14th (Saturday)
Time: 1:00 pm
Location: Jack London Square (Oakland)
Meet at the central circle (Broadway/Water). Then, off to Jack's Bistro in the blue building.

For the British people, there is a NS meetup happening August 18th.

I wonder who decided that Leicester was a good place.

Nevertheless I didn't attend the ones in London either, I do not mix NationStates with real life.

A) Take the train
B) Don't bring a wallet or your cell phone unless you have a purse/backpack
C) Don't drink any beer

Yes, for some, a person from 20 kilometres away is a foreigner already!

Do I have to go to see the doctor to go to Britain? Any tropical diseases spreading?
How about crime? Can I feel safe there?
I heard a lot about the "security" of the ferries to Britain, too!
And aren't they going to chop my hands off just to get my Swiss watch?
And with me being a foreigner, am I secure of xenopobic attacks once I open my mouth?

VZ, dont worry about it. The spread of Tropical Diseases has been kept low this year because of the rain. And the lack of tropics
 
I weighed up the costs of a 22 hour flight and decided I'd stay home and watch TV!! NS meet up looks...riveting!!
