Q. What do bulletproof vests, fire escapes, windshield wipers, and laser printers all have in common?

A. All were invented by women.
A man came up with the idea of windshield wipers and made a crummy little prototype, but the credit does go to a woman, just like steel staircase fire exits. Laser printers, however, were invented by a man named Gary. Bulletproof vests, both silk and kevlar, were invented by men.

Most of the rest of that is baloney.

Coca-Cola was originally green.
Intelligent people have more zinc and copper in their hair.
Men can read smaller print than women can; women can hear better.

What?

I'm going to hazard a guess and say most of those are not true, and all of it was a setup for that horrendously overplayed "It is impossible to lick your elbow" fact. As soon as I saw that stupid fact I knew the last fact was going to be "Har har, such and such percentage of people tried to lick their elbow."
