Karmi's Bloggy goodness

I had my tongue pierced when I was eighteen but I had to take it out about a year later because I kept getting this awful throat thing, even though I kept it clean. I have had to take all my piercings out  I liked them too! Oh well. I still have my tattoos!

I've had my tongue pierced since I was 19. Wow! It's been eight years. Anyway, I don't have any tattoos.....yet. I'm planning on getting one soon, I just don't know where on my body I should get it.

Maybe you guys can help me out with that decision?

Whatever you get make sure you toy around with the idea for awhile. Try not to do it on the spur of the moment. Remember..this is permanant.

Lower back doesnt hurt until they do the bottom of it..depending on how low it goes..mine goes all the way to the end of my back so that part really hurt..but the rest of it was fine...u mm try to stay away from the neck, the wrist, the ankle, and the foot...once again shoulder blade is the best I think..I almost fell asleep.

I just don't understand the fascination with tattoos. I mean, if you're ugly and feel like you need to pretty yourself up and can't come up with anything better than that's your choice but why put something permanent on your body that in most cases will always be hidden from the world....and on your back, how often do you get to see it? Or anyone else for that matter? I'd rather have a piece of art on my wall or for the desktop on my computer where I can see it a lot. Especially if I'm gonna pay money for it....and guess what, that kind of art doesn't hurt at all!

I just don't see the sense so you won't be getting any help from me.

OPA sees the tattoos on my back almost every day and he enjoys them quite a bit.

Too easy.

I bleached my hair the other night. It's orange at the moment. :o I'm still trying to decide what colour I should dye it.

I think red.

Anyway, nothing too interesting happened last weekend. I did get a new camera. I've taken a bunch of pics of the kids and various inanimate objects, but none of myself. I want to wait until my hair isn't orange anymore.

I'm in kind of a bleh mood today and don't really feel like talking much. I have no idea why. Meh.

Thank you, Kat. However, it is rather difficult to talk about it when I have no idea what it is and why it's making me feel bleh.

I think it's just one of those days.

Today's mood is annoyed.

Almost a year ago, we agreed to 'catsit' until the owner of these two cats found an apartment of her own. Now, this was going under the assumption that she would be getting a place within a month. Two at the most. Well, as mentioned, it's almost a year later and we still have these cats. I'm beginning to realise that the longer they're here, the less I like them.

I love animals. They're all cute and sometimes fuzzy. Even the scaly, leathery ones are cute. But I can't stand these two cats. The annoy me to no end. If there not being pushy about wanting attention, they're screaming at me to fill their food dish when there's already plenty of food and water in the damn dish. Grrrr....

Sigh. It looks like I'm going to have to talk to her. Tell her that we just can't keep her cats anymore. I don't want them. I don't want pets. I have two children to clean up after and feed and all that stuff. That's enough for me.

Yeah, I know. No too interesting. Meh.

Actually, I haven't talked to her yet. See, I have this bad habit of being a nice person and I tend to give people multiple chances. Maybe I should change my ways.

Does your friend visit "her" cats very often? Does she bring them food, treats and kitty litter? Take them to the vet? If the answer to any of these questions is no, then I'd say they are YOUR cats and you can do what you please with them.

She does visit them every Saturday. She hasn't brought them food, treats or kitty litter. Actually, I think she brought food once.

Next time she comes to visit tell her you don't have the financial resources to take care of them any more(since she isn't putting a damn dime into their food and stuff) and she needs to take them. Have them already in a nice box with whatever supplies you have for them ready for her to take them that day. If she insists that she can't take them with her right then, tell her she has a week to claim them before the Humane Society does.

Time to put the foot down. Say it all very nicely but let her know you really mean it. Feeding someone else's pet is like smoking....it's flushing money down the toilet that could go towards taking care of your family or even be spent on fun stuff for you.

 Just get her online and I'll tell her. :) I hate cats so I'd be throwing them out the window to see what percentage of the time they actually land on their feet.

Yeah Katinaire and I will beat her up at recess, when teacher is not looking!

(Edit: Changed gender, considering replacing "beat up" with "put worms in her hair")

She really isn't much of a friend if she is dumping these cats on you w/o providing any form of financial assistance as well. You either need to tell her they are either your cats or their going home or tell her humane society or going home. I hate to tell you to send them to the humane society b/c I am not sure whether or not they practic euthenasia(did I spell this right?) and that makes me sad.

Sell them from a cardboard box outside the Walmart to recoup some of the money you spent on them. ;)

That way you don't have to talk to her, AND you're partially compensated. Then just say they ran away.

It's win-win for everyone outside the ethics arena.

So cat lady has been told to get her pets out of her. She has until the end of the month to find a place other than here to keep them.

It felt so damn good.

:D

Cat-th??

Me ith liking cat-th weary mutch! Giff zem to me! Pleethe!

Me hath already cat-th at hom, butt I do not have any at ze students dorm...tho thaad!! Wizout cat-th!

Naeew, alright, I don't think the kitties would be too happy with a 18 sqm student dorm room!

You go girl!! If the month comes and they still aren't gone, let her know you will be conducting an experiment for a friend of yours on how often cats land on their feet when thrown out a window. :D

Nah, I'll just tell her that they're the SPCA's problem now.

On an unrelated note, I get to go to Chicago this summer! Yay!
