Tommorrow's Events:

The final Alpine Skiing event is held on Mount Capellan, with the final of the Women's Downhill.

The Women's Bobsled final, a practical duplicate of today's race, takes place tomorrow... will Blackshear continue their hold on the gold, or will someone come from behind?

A fight for third tommorrow in the Polar Stadium as Chodean Kal and Puckton aim for Bronze in Women's Curling.

On the other side of the building, Women's Ice Hockey comes to a head in the Bronze Medal game between the original favorites Puckton and inconsitent Apollo-Industria, and the Gold Medal Game between undefeated teams Kaleaf and Deikura.

A confusion in scheduling puts the Women's 10K Cross-Country Ski Race tomorrow. Originally slated for Monday, a typographical error in an e-mail from the Chairman of Hersfold's Olympic Committee led to mild confusion outside of Vulcan this morning, which eventually resulted in the delaying of the Women's event.

Sir Andrew Hours, the athlete to compete in Men's figure skating today, is an amazing person. He has been awarded the Order of Nadroj which is:

Given by the Duke of Nadroj for defending the province and/or contributing much to the province and royal family residing there. They meet every year to discuss what should be changed in the province, and make suggestions to the provincial legislature.

You see, before he became "famous" as a skater, he worked often within his community ice rink volunteering his time countless hours each week to help kids who could not afford professional lessons. When he was 23, he took out a loan and sold his house to build three outdoor ice rinks around the County with low cost and free lessons to kids who would normally have no where to go afterschool. He was growing in debt, however. He won the Provincial Ice Championships when he was 25 though and won enough money to pay back some of the money he owed. The following year he won the National Ator People Ice Championship and used his winnings to build more ice rinks around Nadroj. It was that year that the Duke knighted him to the Order of Nadroj for all he had done for the children in the province. That was one year ago, and today he hopes to win the Olympic Gold so that he can continue to fund his cause.

Men's Curling finishes up tonight with the final round between Chodean Kal and Puckton - Chodean needs to win by at least 3 points to get the gold.

Men's Ice Hockey begins today, with Group A game between Blackshear and Puckton, and Group B between Deikura and Apollo-Industria.

The Large Hill Ski Jump final is held tonight near the now-vacant ski slopes on Mount Capellan.

I apologize to everyone... this seems to happen with every tournament I host. I've medalled in every event I've been in, half of which were golds. I just checked, and at this point it is impossible for any other nation to top my position on the medal count chart. I swear I have not tampered with any results... everything is randomly generated on my calculator, with each new result going to the next person on the list.

I came in second, which was no surprise since my athletes ~~paid~~ worked hard for those medals.

But seriously, I'd like to thanks Hersfold for all the work he's done on these events. Scheduling, scoring, making the medals, etc.

Oh, and King Henry Nadroj VI of *Ator People would like to congratulate all the winners in our nation, especially William O'Smith for his gold medal and great score in the Men's K-95 Ski Jump.

Speaking of which, I was thinking about the TNP Olympic Games concept the other night, and I think we should have it more often than its RL parallel. 4 years is an eternity on a forum where 3 months is one Cabinet term.

Then we could set up a system whereby nations could bid (maybe using some more creative way than just TNP$...) to host (which may be less attractive than at first glance, because that means the host has to generate all the random numbers).
