Deal or No Deal

Puckton

TNPer
This is the game where you've gotta play it smart...cause with a little luck and skill, you could walk away with $1,000,000!

Here's how it works. There are 26 cases with varying dollar amounts:

$.01 $1,000
$1 $5,000
$5 $10,000
$10 $25,000
$25 $50,000
$50 $75,000
$75 $100,000
$100 $200,000
$200 $300,000
$300 $400,000
$400 $500,000
$500 $750,000
$750 $1,000,000

Your job is to find the one case that you believe has $1 million in it, but to find out if you do have that case, we must open the other 25 one at a time. During the course of the game, I will make you an offer for as little as possible to buy back your case in this order:

Offer 1: after 6 cases
Offer 2: After 5 cases
Offer 3: After 4 cases

And so on. Your options at that time will be to either take the offer (Deal) or keep going on and open more cases (No Deal). Now all I need is 1 player. Who's willing to step up to the plate??

If I had that power...yes.

Welcome AP....first things first: Pick the case that you think has $1,000,000 in it. 1-26

all right! :) 12 comes off the board and heads right over to us. *places case next to you* Now we'll start round 1. In order to figure out what's in your case, we have to open up the other 25 cases one at a time. In order to accomplish this, you need to tell me what cases to open, so to start, give me 6 numbers from 1-26 except 12 and we'll open them in the order that you pick them

Ok....let's do this one step at a time. We'll start with #1 where inside we find........

$200!!

Good start! Now on to case #2 where we find....

Uh oh...$75,000.

Might have been a good choice, but we'll just have to see. On to #3 where we find......

A little better tho not much...$50,000.

Not too sure about this. *worried* Let's go to #4 where we find.....

$5!!!!!

Much much better!!! Next up is #5 where we find.......

$50!!!!

Way to go AP! I sense your luck is turning! :) And finally on to #6. Inside there we find....

$1,000!!!!

Nice round AP! Staying away from those high dollar amounts will drive the bank offers up as you'll see later on.

*phone rings* That would be the banker. *picks up the phone* Hello Mr. Banker......I'll tell him right away. *hangs up the phone*

Ok AP here's the deal. The banker's gonna try to make the smallest offer possible to buy back your case because he thinks you have the million.

Now he's willing to buy your case back for $13,000. The question I have for you now is will you take his offer or will you risk it and keep going knowing that somewhere in the remaining 20 cases, there's still the million in there. So....Deal or No Deal?

Puckton, is this your unofficial bid for Minister of Arts and Enteraintment? If so well done...

AP - No don't do it, make the banker sweat!

*deal goes off the board to massive crowd applause*

All right! There are now 20 cases left counting the one that you have. For this next round, we'll now open 5 cases, so AP, please select 5 numbers from 7-26 except 12.

(Also can I get a score keeper of sorts? Someone to mainly keep tabs on what dollar amounts have been removed, what offers have been made, current offer, etc)

Ok....let's start with 24. Inside we find......

$25,000

Considering that you still have those high amounts up there, we're doing ok. On to #7 where we find.......

Ohhhhh boy.....$10,000

*worried* This could be a bad sign. Onto #8 where we find.........

$25!!!!!!

Now we're turning it around! As we look inside #9 we find......

$1!!!!!

Now we're getting somewhere! And finally #26....will there be something good?.....

Ohhh yeah!! $.01!

Now you're on a roll AP! What a fantastic round for ya!! *phone rings* I wonder who this is...*picks it up* Hello?......All right. *hangs up*

You didn't take his last offer of $13,000. Well how about $38,000???

What will it be AP? Deal or No Deal?

(And Hers, I'd love to use AP's idea of a post award system for this game too)

Ohhhh man!! *deal goes off the board to raucous applause*

Ok AP, on to Round 3. You've been doing a fantastic job so far....let's keep it up! Open up 4 cases (10-11, 13-23, 25)

Ok...you've been on a roll...let's keeep it up! We'll start with #10 where we find......

$75!!!

4th low value in a row!! Let's move on to #11 where we find......

Uh oh.....$500,000!!!

Not good at all!!! Let's hope for better luck under #13......

Yikes!!! $400,000!!!!

Things have got to beter soon! We'll move to #25 where we find.......

Here we go!! $300!!!

Kind of an iffy round for ya there AP. *phone rings* Time for another offer. *picks it up* Yes? *hangs up*

Our banker's latest offer....$62,000.

11 cases left. One of which still has the million inside. So AP, Deal or No Deal?

Breakdown of Dollar Amounts still left:

$10
$100
$400
$500
$750
$5,000
$100,000
$200,000
$300,000
$750,000
$1,000,000

Well the million is still up there. Rather it's here *points to his #12 case* !

:P

Then again, 62 grand is a lot. *ator people thinks of how his political campaign in TNP could use the money*

Well since the crowd wants me to keep going, I'm gonna say NO DEAL!

*deal goes off the table as crowd starts to really get excited*

Whoa! We're getting into serious territory here! 11 cases left, one of which still has the million. Round 4 arrives and for this round we need you to open 3 cases.

(14-23)

Ok AP.....such intensity here! Let's start with your first choice, #14, where we find......

$750!!!!

Wow AP! You're doing a fantastic job so far! We move to 23 where we find.......

$400!!!!

Very well done!! You're really rocking now! And finally onto #18....what will we find?......

How about $5,000!!!!!

Oh boy AP! 8 cases left, 1 still with $1 million and a 5 out of 8 chance of your case having at least $100,000! *phone rings* Uh oh.....*picks up* Hello??......I'll tell him. *hangs up*

AP, you've really got the banker scared out of his mind. $13,000, $37,000, and $62,000 all turned down.

Now he's willing to buy back back your case for......

$117,000.

Again my question for you AP....Deal or No Deal?

Wow....over 100k! This is tough. And if Hersfold accepts the post count winnings, that could be, 10 posts.

But you know what, why would I do that, when I have the one million right here? *ator people points to his case * ;)

I'm gonna say No deal.

*deal goes off the board as excitement gets louder*

Ohhhh boy! 8 cases left and the million's still in there somewhere! Round 5 is here and for this round we need you to open 2 cases. Good luck!

(15-17, 19-22)

Ok! Let's hope for the best! Let's start with 15 where we find.......

Ugh!! $300,000!!!

But hey it was bound to happen eventually, but we're still doing ok. On to 17 where inside we discover......

*cringes in horror* $1,000,000!!!! *crowd lets out loud moan of disbelief*

Oh AP! Yuck!!! But with 6 cases left, there's still a chance you could have $750,000. *phone rings and I pick up* Yessss?....Mmhmm.....Ok. *hangs up*

Well you still got him scared, but not nearly as much....$175,000

With 6 cases left and still a shot at $750,000, AP, will it be Deal or No Deal?

(Money Breakdown:
$10
$100
$500
$100,000
$200,000
$750,000)

Ok! On to Round 6 where with $750,000 still up gor grabs, we wish you the best of luck. From now on, you'll be picking 1 case per round. So with that in mind, choose 1 case.

(16, 19, 20, 21, 22)

Ok.....good luck AP...we're rooting for ya! Under #22, we find........

$100,000!!!! *crowd gets more excited*

Would've loved to see the three lower amounts, but this is just as good! *phone rings* The banker's gotta be scared now! *picks up* Hello?.....*hangs up*

Well, he's getting real desperate to buy that case back. How about $190,000??

With $750,000 still up there somewhere (maybe in your case), do you wanna take the offer or risk it and go on? AP, Deal or No Deal?

*deal goes off the table as crowd moves into raucous applause*

Ok AP, 5 cases left ($10, $100, $500, $200,000, $750,000) Choose one of them. Good luck!

(16, 19, 20, 21)

Ok AP....the best of luck to you@ Under #19, we find.....

Ohhhh ho ho!! $100!!! *audience is in near hysterics*

Well done AP! 1 of 4 shot of getting $750,000!! *phone rings* Let's see who we have here. *picks up* Yes Banker........ok *hangs up* It seems he's now getting real desperate now......

$238,000!!

Here's the situation AP. There are 4 cases left: 12 (yours), 16, 20, and 21. There's $10 and $500 in two of them and $200,000 and $750,000 in the others. With that in mind, will you take the $238,000 and walk or risk it by choosing 1 more case?

Deal or No Deal??
