I was in a car accident today, my first :

That's my car above, Chupathingy, my silver metallic 1998 Honda Accord LX.

I was on the CA-22E / Garden Grove Freeway going towards Orange, trying to meet up with some mates at a coffee shop to form a D&D party together. I was driving aroudn 65 or 66 mph, and I noticed that the lane in front of me was slowing down.

I tried pressing the brakes, but nothing happened. It was too late.

I had my seat belt on, and I felt the jolt. the air bags didn't even deploy.

This is the black Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE I hit. His bumper is barely on. The driver was ok.

This is the car the Maxima guy hit.....barely anything. The driver and three passengers in here are ok.

I still feel shaken up. The accident happened around 215 PM PDT. I walked to the hospital after being dropped off home by the towing guy from AAA around 5 PM. I got discharged from the emergency room a half hour ago...haven't eaten anything save for two Milanos that I had around noon.

I'm probably going to relax until this neck strain I have is gone. I'm wearing some soft cervical collar now around my bloody neck.

I'm sorry I screwed up :(
 
If you think about it, this could have ended up really really badly in other circumstances. I'm glad that you're doing so relatively well!

And I thought japanese cars were reliable... :hug:

VZ, I just noticed the pic of the moronic cheese. Why is there a horse on it? I can understand a cow or a goat, but a horse? What kind of cheese is this?

They do that mostly in Mongolia and Central Asia, I guess.

And no, as fas as I could distinguish it, it was ordinary cow milk cheese.
Enfin, ordinary...a regional specialty and organic produce...but that's just the normal blabla.
