Informal Vote: RA activity clauses Part Ii

I voted 30 days log onto the forum. But my preference as I said on the IRC channel the other day is still a roll call thread in the voting chambers posted every so often (I'm thinking two weeks) that is open for five/seven days. Missing two consecutive roll calls removes.

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

I understand people don't like you Gov. However, I didn't see anything that BW said to you which was excessively harsh. Plus, this didn't happen because people disliked you. No one passed this law months ago knowing they could eventually use it against you. If you're being serious with this...

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

Govindia I saw no one being any harsher toward you than you've been toward BW. BW didn't try to overwrite regional law. I think he owes the region far less of an apology than someone who tried to make the law say whatever it needed to say for him to keep his position. The handling of this...

    Informal Poll: Elected Legislature

The only elected legislature system I've seen that I actually liked better than a legislature that consists of anyone who wishes to apply to it like TNP's current system and TSP's system, is TEP's. You run for the legislature and either get voted in or out, your success is not limited by others...

    Informal Poll: Parliamentarianism?

I vote presidential. TCC tried to make the delegate position seperate from the government. It didn't work, because everyone still wanted to be delegate and there wasn't enough reward for being the non-delegate head of government (the "ambitous" NSers continued to want to be delegate, as almost...

    Regional Assembly Sub-Forums

While I am talking about RA subforums though, can the description of lobby be altered some. It looks like there is either an omitted word or "import" should be a different form of the word. It doesn't make sense to me as is. [/nitpick]

    North Pacific Army Set Up

To me it sounds like the Security Council's role is to receive high endorsements, and the Army's role is to give them. That role is fairly separate to me. Especially since the SC is by nature and law not permitted to leave the region, there should be a second body to support allies or unsupport...

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

Again, playing the victim of mistreatment or disrespect is not a defense. You're trying to sideline the discussion about your blatant violation of the law. Such maneuvers may actually explain why people do not take you seriously in the first place.

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

The regional assembly DID vote to end the practice of the speaker not voting by passing a law that ALL regional assembly members will be removed if they miss two votes in a row. This is reaching JAL levels of disregarding the law, Gov.

    Help With Weed's Flag?

I went with one based off the Rasta colours. I just don't like rainbows. I'll probably switch it often, I always do. My NationStates flag is like a 15 year old girl's profile picture on Facebook. Must. Look. New. And. Hott. XD

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

How is how you feel people have treated you relevant here? Creating sympathy also does not exempt you from the law. Unless you can point at a place in the law where it says you as speaker have the legal ability to miss more than two votes without being removed then regardless of how victimized...

    Raid on TNP

Upon reading the thread, you would find JAL confirmed he ordered Exshaw's forces in to back BWII. The guy had accurate information, actually, he just assumed BWII knew about it, which BWII says he didn't.

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

What case? The law has been thrown out the window. We're just lucky you're allowing those of us who observed your power grab have been allowed to remain in the RA, or have not had their application denied in my case. Once you've decided you're willing to ignore laws for a new term there is...

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

Limi explained his term. There was only one vote during his term. You can't be removed for missing two votes, if there is but one. Most likely, no one ever looked at it before. No one ever noticed that even though the Grosse and AMOM posted they were not voting. Now someone noticed. Regardless...

Indeed. I put my two cents on the RMB. Perhaps something shorter but similar in the WFE? We don't really know who all he messaged to try to message them. If I see anyone withdraw an endorsement of you I'll use a similar message as what I posted on the RMB to hopefully get them to think twice...

    A trouble maker

Uhm, I am unsure. Banning a nation accusing you of trying to control the region may just legitimize the claim in the mind of those he already messaged. I would find it no great moral misdoing were he to be banned, I just am not sure it would actually undo anything he did. It might make his...

    Removals from the Regional Assembly

Exactly. The law VERY clearly states that Govindia should not be in the Regional Assembly. And yet, because Govindia would like to stay in the Regional Assembly despite written law says ANY member missing two consecutive votes will be removed. Govindia has acknowledged that missing those votes...

    Unmet Delegate obligations

Based on which laws? I am having trouble finding it though admittedly the laws can be hard to search through. I'm sure it's there though, because the Speaker of the RA randomly declaring what he wants to be what is legal and what he does not want to be illegal would be laughably embarrassing...

    Re: Topid's admission

There's nothing that says this has to be the case. If there was sufficient planning there wouldn't have to be a 19 day period where there is voting on a bill straight through to an election. I don't think we ever really assumed that was the case, at least I never thought about bills being voted...
