Oh, wow, I have no idea how I missed these questions, I've been checking up daily incase I got asked any. Maybe I need to clear out my cookies or something. I know the answers won't make a difference now, but maybe for the next election!
In honesty, I can see it having both effects...
Could you make me one thats a bit militaryish? I don't know what else to request about it, but I'd quite like to have the English flag involved somehow if possible. Be creative! :spin:
My nation in TNP (as written in my RV application) is: Conneticun
Prime Minister - Poltsamaa
Minister of Immigration and Internal Affairs - Hersfold
Minister of External Affairs - Conneticun
Minister of Defense - Dalimbar
Attorney General, serving as Minister of Justice - Mr Sniffles
Minister...
I'm not sure how else to explain it. Do you support using the NPA as a political extention, do you support them defending like in the RLA and ADN and other places, do you support their use in places like The West Pacific. Thinks like that.
, I guess they'd have been right to want to watch us if we're watching them. If you ask your watcher they will tell you that I left long ago (or at leat relatively long ago given my short history) after concern at some of the discussion going on there. I also let the cabinet know that I...
As a new nation standing against two established nations in his first election, I can see the benefits term limits would have for bringing more people into the political process.
I think this is a good compromise. But from the perspecitive of a newer nations and considering the lengthy time...
Now seeing that I can stand for both Minister of External affairs and Security Council (each of which would compliment the other).
I, Conneticun, declare my candidacy for a seat on the Security Council.
If there was an issue that you had to decide on that you knew had mass popular support and would pass an RA vote, but that you also knew would damage the region, would you pass it or dismiss it?
LoL. Well ok then, not having access to the second part of the two-way system makes developing a position on it difficult. But I can say that I will work to make this an effective and important part of our diplomatic department. An archive of historical and current events that will serve...
Sorry for taking so long. :ninja:
Thank you... I think. :P
To improve the embassies I think we have to do two things. Improve the system and improve the personel. I have noticed that with the current system the information and action only flows one way and leaves little room for additional...
Conneticun for Minister of External Affairs
A Fresh Face for a Fresh Perspective
Who the hell are you?
I am Conneticun and a relatively new citizen of The North Pacific. I first joined in November and since then have spent most of my time reading rather than posting, hoping to gain the...
This actual situation is so completely over my head, but I think I can still talk about whether or not we should do something, even if I can't talk about what that is.
I don't think we should isolate ourselves from the world and the changes hppening around us, especially not one as big as this...
I don't like filibusters. They allow loud minorities to block the legitimate democratic process. If protection of specific minorities is needed it should be placed in the constitution to avoid later law overriding it.
I always liked recall elections because I think they further democracy, but I dont think they'd work very well here.
It wouldn't be 55% that needed to change their minds, only 5%. What if a polorising minister only just got elected by 51% got office? It'd be all too easy to hold a recall vote...
