Given the apparent interest, I will write on the subject sometime this weekend. It naturally will not be binding, but perhaps will influence some like-minded legislator.

I will probably be writing on this sometime soon - my companions felt compelled to push to a decision urgently so I frankly didn't have time - that opinion was drafted less than 18 hours before its publication. My disagreement was quite clear, however.
