[GA, Test Run] Package Deal: Repeal and Replace GA 286

I would also vote against if I could. I agree with George that the repeal listed all the wrong reasons.

    Civil Servants Day Bill

A lot of people join (sign up for citizenship, usually) and do nothing anyway. A badge is worth nothing if you got it for doing nothing. I think something similar to the WA awards would be the way to go, as it recognizes the members of the Executive Staff, without requiring the effort needed to...

[GA] Repeal: "Internet Neutrality Act" [Complete]

For. The resolution is literally pointless. As the resolution said, if the government wants to block something, declare it illegal. Edit: Forgot I can't vote R.I.P

    Dwayne Overbey Intro Post

Welcome! Luckily for you, TNP holds elections for the Judicial branch, so you can run to become a Judge then (every 4 months, the next one being at the start of November.) Because I'm usually too lazy to look for them, there are a bunch of useful links in my signature that you can look at.

    Monthly Memoirs for August

If you could change one thing about the North Pacific, what would it be and why? Depends on what I'm trying to achieve. To actually help it? Either a more well-rounded military, or a more effective foreign policy. For my own gain? Make myself elected Delegate. Not Founder, because I think that...

[GA] Repeal: “Reproductive Freedoms” (Dobrobyt) [Complete]

International law triumphs the law of a nation, doesn't it? Also, if a nation leaves the WA, and comes back after the resolution is passed, they still have to follow that passed law (If you leave a nation before a law is passed, you aren't immune to that law when you return after it passes.)

[GA] Repeal: “Reproductive Freedoms” (Dobrobyt) [Complete]

Minor nitpick, but I believe laws are automatically enacted so that every WA nation is in compliance with WA legislation, whether they like it or not. Against.

    [Complete][SC] Commend Christian Democrats

I can't vote, but I need somebody to explain to me how this isn't enough for a commendation, while, say, Imperium Anglorum did have enough?

    [GA] Limitations On Banishment [Complete]

They can. This resolution still permits banishment, but prevents member states from abusing it as a punishment. Mass destruction would certainly be a valid reason to banish somebody, and this resolution permits that. It seems like it only bans banishment from a WA nation to a non-WA nation...

    Bootsie's SC Application

I'm in agreement that the positives heavily outweigh the negatives here (even though there aren't any negatives.) I see no reason to not allow Bootsie to rejoin the Security Council.

    New Around Here

Hello! There are many forms of government that The North Pacific has to offer. However, to participate in the government, you are required to get citizenship here: http://forum.thenorthpacific.org/topic/7306731/ Getting citizenship allows you to participate in the government, such as creating...

[DRAFT] Medical Service Equality and Regulation Act.

The resolution intends to require nations to provide sufficient health services to it's citizens. However, it does not prevent certain services from falling short in favor of others, and also still allows nation to simply neglect health services past the minimum, as the only punishment would be...

[DRAFT] Medical Service Equality and Regulation Act.

Nothing's wrong with it? No bad grammar, false arguments, bad clauses, etc? Also, since some people seem confused, this is nowhere close to a general healthcare bill, it's a bill addressing a flaw in one (of many) previous healthcare resolutions. This is far from an ObamaCare, but that's off...

[GA] Enabling The Disabled In Academia [Complete]

The problem is that Clause 1 requires that training be incorporated into the teacher training process though. Not just for specialized teacher training, but for all teachers. Regardless of if there is a specialist or not, you are still gonna have a massive budget drain in training those teachers.
