Chancellor of His Majesty's Government
Kingdom of Cimmeria

Mr president: Good, we are ready to accept any offer from them.

Some hours later, one of scallendovia intelligence officer arrived knocking the doer of the office of mr president.

( knocking knocking )

Mr president: Come in

Officer: OK sir, ( open the door ). Sir will got a report that one of our ally SAA Canada is helping cogorian troops to reach us.

Mr president: Whattt!!, how far is Kanada to scallendovia?

Officer: I dont really know sir

Mr president: oh! Shit. We need to call our minister of defense now for instant action.

Officer: OK sir, I will go to his office now.

Mr president: Go go go .

Officer left his office and heads strait to ministry of defense instantly. Mr president bow down his head and start thinking of what to do.

In the Capital City of Anarchic City, Head General Jonas Simms was being briefed on the recent intelligence report from inside Cimmerien by the Head of the LAIB (Lands of Anarchy Intelligence Branch) Melvin Evans

"Reports have been received that our Citizens from Cimmerien are disappearing. All of them have been leaving their houses. When casually asked, they refusing to state why they were leaving. This has been noted for citizens of other nations as well, all of them a part of PACA"

The Head General had already figured out what was being proposed, but he held out hope. "What are you proposing?"

"Along with this, none of our citizens have sent messages on Fluttr since last night, even those who have been noted to post in the late hours regardless. Multiple of our citizens, as well as those from the other nations noted earlier, have posted messages discussing being sent away, among similar things."

"In short, we are proposing that citizens are being removed from their homes forcefully by the government, although we are hesitant to states that they are heading to internment camps or anything of that sort, since those words gets people angry and lead them to over-exaggerate the situation. ."

The words that the General feared, "internment camps", since he knew what he would have to do then. "Wait a second, who is 'we'?"

"Our spies believe so, all of them. Considering that they saw first hand, I trust them."

"In that case, I will brief the President immediately."

Half hour later.

"We are proposing that citizens are being removed from their homes by the force of the Cimmerien government, on the assumption that they are committing treason, without their Government having evidence. I would advise we take measures to free our citizens, starting with an ultimatum, followed by war if necessary. However, it’s your call."

John Smith didn't need the advice however, he had already determined what he was gonna do.

"I will call an urgent meeting of Congress immediately. I appreciate the report."

Half hour later
An urgent meeting of Congress had been called. The President was rounding out his opening statement.

"The Head General is proposing that citizens are being removed from their homes by the force of the Cimmerien government, on the assumption that they are committing treason, without their Government having any evidence. I agree with that conclusion. They also advised we take measures to free our citizens, starting with an ultimatum, which I also agree with. I called this meeting to decide our response."

Congress debated and argued, quickly coming to the decision that the Cimmerien Government should be questioned about this activity this activity. By a 98.7%, or 412/418 vote, and a further determination that the absent voters would not effect the outcome of the vote, Congress began writing the message to be sent to Cimmerien. The message was finished quick, and sent out.

From: The Congress of Lands of Anarchy
To: Minister-President of Cimmerien, David Staedtler

Our Government has heard of the possibility that our citizens in your country are being removed from their homes forcibly by your government. While we question the truthfulness of these claims, we would like confirmation from you government on the topic of these claims. We await your response.

The SAA Kanadian government is appalled. Scallendovia is willing to kill their innocent ambassador as a way to get them to back off. This will not stand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
LETTER TO THE SCALLDOVIAN GOVERNMENT

We find it incredibly barbaric that you would kill and innocent ambassador. We are not even currently at war. If you are to kill our ambassador, war will be declared, and we will fire on your ports. Keep him alive, however, and peace will be held for longer.

Just so you know, the ambassador has a wife and 3 young children back in SAA Kanada.

The SAA Canadian Government.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Prime Minister read over the letter multiple times.

His advisor walked up and said, "Are you sure you want to do this, sir? War could come from it!"

"Whatever path the Scallendovians' take, we will be ready." Said the PM, handing the letter to the advisor, "Send this immediatly.

"Yes, Sir"

Mr president turn on his radio beside him in is office and tune to Fresh FM 105.5, when listening to it, vice President Prof. Sam Danny rush in with sweat on his body, breathing heavily.

During the discussion, Minister of defense also rushed in, bringing the same news for him. They all silent for a while, later mr president raise up his head with tears in his eyes and said to himself " I brought all this wrath to Scallendovia".

What do you think we can do now says Mr president.

Minister: The next thing for us is to declared state of emergency and stop all travellers on land and air from traveling. So that will can prepared for war.

Mr president: OK, good.

They all leave the office and enter the car heading to Scallendovian broadcasting service to tell the nation the declaration of state of emergency.

Mr president broadcasting live on SBS television speech are as follow:

Speech:
Today will are declaring state of emergency all over the nation, no traveling by air, land or on water. Most of our port has been bombed by cogorian government, also Canada government is helping cogorian troops to reach us. Please bear with us everything will be OK.

After, they finished the broadcasting, he told the minister of defense to tell MajGen Chris to start everything he can to lunch back missiles to cogori and prepared for war, before the arrival if cimmerien delegate.

Some our later, MajGen Chris gathered over 2000 army to head strait to Sil Dorset nearest border, to prepare to lunch back missiles to cogori.

No other place Cogorian army can reach here than our nearest ally Sil Dorset " says MajGen Chris telling the troops, so will need to gather here before they arrive. We are going to lunch our missiles tomorrow to cogori.

Troops started preparing for war, looking at Sil Dorsett afar.

Ooh! I know this won't work " says Mr president.

What do you think we can do now ? asking mr president.

Mr president: I have no idea yet.

They both start thinking of what to do, to stop canada.

Captain Natan Jorsten looked at the GPS screen below him. They had arrived at the meeting point in international water off Cimmerien. He picked up the the telephone receiver linked to the ship's PA system.

"Good morning everyone. We are here. God has blessed us with safe passage to the PACA flotilla point, and we will begin operations immediately. All hands to battle stations. Fighter groups 1 and 2 will take off and protect the fleet. Groups 3 and 4 are on rotation. All missile defense systems are online. All sailors are to be prepared for immediate evasive action when necessary."

The foghorn aboard the HMS Danneg IV sounded a long tone, as the ship pulled away from the docks at Naval Base Jægerstrom. The ship was deployed to the PACA flotilla, along with the HMS Pfennen, a Hysende-class destroyer. The amphibious assault ship carried a complement of 1,000 Imperial Knights, 2 attack helicopter wings, and enough landing craft and helicopters to raid an entire coastline. There were also 700 Nogorian troops and 700 Anarchian troops onboard as well. They did not know wether or not they would need to ever use those landing craft, but the nation was not going to play around any longer.

As the ship left, they all stood at attention, passing the gargantuan statue of Prince Konghuset, who over 500 years ago left that very same harbor, off into an unknown world, to found Goyanes' very first colony, Yalkan. They passed the statue, and it was nothing but high sea from there on out...

Imperium's military prided itself on two things. One was its readiness, the other its capability. You could be forgiven for expecting the Byzantine flows of command within the August military to stymie its capacity to make war. Yet, the flows of command were designed specifically for one thing - to limit the power of the officer corps. Its complexity, its malleability, all served to give the enlisted the agency and ability to pave their own streets of gold on the battlefield. It took mere minutes for Varus to order the mobilization of the AVN Pisces and Libra, two amphibious assault carriers somewhere short of 30,000 tons displacement. Designed to host a battalion each and a complement of rotary aviation assets, they were expeditionary forces in a can. Let loose the dogs of war, said he Prince-Consul of Imperium, as he marched down to the Sea District.

There waiting were his two contacts in the Naval Service, who had for many years been his staunchest supporters in the military. Enlisted had almost literally fallen amongst themselves to serve under Varus' personal mission to Cogoria. With just a kind word, he had secured an entire Cohort from the Censorial Service, seeking to put their names into the history books. Of Imperium's services, the Censorial Service, that bastion of art and artists, was the home of its idealists. They would serve alongside their polar opposites, the Explorators. There were a full maniple, each and every one of them working for the wealth only the Augustine Dynasty could assure. For a single, brief mission, the 1500 of them would have the eyes of the world on them. Promotions would be forthcoming; command a real possibility; loot a potentiality. They were the special forces - the marines, the aviators, and the secret operators. Commanding the 2000 total was a final cohort of 500 - the Speculators. They were the intelligence specialists, ready to make every connection they could on the fields of war as thinkers, observers, and strategists. Returning home, they would each and everyone have a few weeks as heroes - centers of attention, magnets to the kind of people they would usually kill to listen to.

It was this Expeditionary Force that would be setting immediately for Cogoria, under the command of Censorial Tribune Angustus, Ang. Monica Marconus. A contingency manager, trained in disaster communications and emergency broadcasting, she was used to travelling on short notice, to relieve administration and managers in areas hit by crises of all sorts. It was her managerial spirit that would guide the Cogorian Expeditionary Force.

Service Units:
Cogorian Expeditionary Force, under the command of Censorial (Tribune Angustus) Ang. Monica Marconus reporting to Prince-Consul Varus Nascorus.

1. ANVY Pisces; amphibious assault carrier, operational headquarters configuration (200 troops, 4 material transport craft, 16 heavy helicopters)
2. ANVY Libra; amphibious assault carrier, assault configuration (1000 troops, 2 landing craft, 60 APCs, 16 heavy helicopters)

1st Cogorian Exploratorial Maniple (ANVY Libra) - (Tribune Angustus) Ang. Gurgen Beridzus
1st Cogorian Censorial Cohort - (Tribune Latus) Lat. Dr. Miranda d'Angelo
1st Cogorian Speculatorial Cohort - (Tribune Latus) Lat. Dr. Margarita Walsius
- 1st Cogorian Speculatorial Century (ANVY Pisces)
- 2nd Cogorian Speculatorial Century (ANVY Pisces)
- 3rd Cogorian Speculatorial Century
- 4th Cogorian Speculatorial Century
- 5th Cogorian Speculatorial Century

A Century is 100 people. A Cohort is 500. A Maniple is 1,000.

As Congress is busy preparing the ultimatum, in case it is necessary, John Smith gives the news.

"It is unfortunate that I must notify Congress that the nation of Scallendovia has taken the Ambassador of a neutral nation, SAA Canada, hostage, threatening to kill the ambassador. This, along with their alliance to Cimmerien, who we are currently responding to, should not go unnoticed. Due to all of this, I raise the issue to Congress on what action, or lack thereof, we take concerning the nation of Scallendovia."

The writing is halted, as Congress goes into debate once again on what to do, although the discussion is not as one-side as it was before.

2 hours later:

After furious debate, and a failed vote, the vote begins to submit an ultimatum . With a close 78% (required 75% to pass), or 348/446 vote, the motion to send an ultimatum to Scallendovia has passed.

The Nebulan anarchists had come into port in a small town on the coast of Cogoria. A small, bored garrison greeted them happily (they still flew the flag of the pro-Cogorian factions), and when the night shifts changed, the Nebulans, armed to the teeth, confronted the guards and took them by surprise; most of the garrison surrendered without a fight (although a few who attempted to resist were injured in the resulting brawl) and were locked away without much fuss in the Nebulan ships, which kept their flags flying high. The designated crew of the ships remained aboard with the food and supplies while the others prepared to trek inward the next day.

After, failing to accept scallendovia treaty in Sil Dorset. MajGen Chris order all troops gather at the nearest Dorsettians border to relocate to the coast line, after cheif of Naval staff Captain Mike Den as also make the coastline a checkpoint, making over 3200 troops , three warship patrolling the coastline.

Some hours later , Minister of defense order Scallendovian Air Force ( SAF ), to send four SAF SR-71 high-speed reconnaissance aircraft, SAF TR-1 U-2, RCAF CP-140A Arcturus reconnaissance aircraft and SAF MQ-1/RQ-1 Predator to cogoria to gather more informations and their major cities.

Princess Claidie heard the report about the Scallendovian military positioning troops on the Dorsettian border, and was bewildered as to why. Though negotiations for a defense support treaty from the Scallendovians had failed, the two countries were not at war. She summoned her acting defense minister, Emma Bettencourt, to ask for her opinion on how to handle the situation, only to find out that the Scallendovians later withdrew and relocated the troops to their own coastline.

Relieved that there were no longer foreign troops near the border, Claidie could focus on how to handle the refugee problem. Claidie ordered makeshift camps along the border where Scallendovians could go. Refugees would be treated well, with food, water, shelter, and medical supplies readily available. Once the war ends, the refugees would be repatriated without any civil or criminal penalties. Those requesting asylum would be given the paperwork to submit.

The ambassador to Scallendovia, Christine Brooks, had returned after the embassy in Olive Town was closed for safety reasons. Claidie gave Christine a letter to deliver to the Scallendovian ambassador in Norvalle, informing them of the refugee admission plan, and pleading with the Scallendovians not to position troops near the border again.

To: President, Lord Emmanuel.
From: The President of Lands of Anarchy

We have decided, after deliberation, that the actions of your nation must be addressed.

First, our nation has noted your alliance with the nation of Cimmerien, who is beginning wars of aggression. This is evidenced in their declaration of war, where they specifically said that they intended to take over Cogoria. However much we may disagree with the ideals of Cogoria, they are causing far less problems then the Cimmerien declaration is, so we don’t see the benefit to doing so.

Secondly, your nation has threatened to kill and ambassador of the nation of SAA Canada, after previously burning their embassy in your nation. We believe that threatening to kill an ambassador/protected official of a neutral nation is enough for a war in itself, but we digress.

We are willing to look past these points, and still maintain peace with your nation. However, this will not be allowed with the current situation. To allow peace between our nations, our government requires:

1. Your resignation as President of Scallendovia, which we require due to the multiple hostile actions made to neutral countries, as well as your support of Cimmerien, who we are currently investigating for potential crimes against humanity. A resignation is necessary to achieve peace, and to prevent a similar situation from occurring.

2. An end to all hostilities, which is necessary to begin peace negotiations, and allows an end to this global conflict, which could unnecessarily cost many lives due to a war of aggression

3. The beginning of peace negotiations, so that the conflict can be settled diplomatically rather than with military force.

If these demands are not met, we can assure you that war will be declared on your nation. 24 hours will be given to formulate a response, or 10:40 tomorrow morning. If this ultimatum is not answered, will result in war between our nations.

Signed,
John Smith, President of Lands of Anarchy,
Terry Logan, Vice President of Lands of Anarchy,
Jonas Simms, Head General of Lands of Anarchy.
Approved by a 78% vote of Congress.

After the message was sent to the Scalledovian government, it was immediately made public by the Anarchian Government. ((OOC Edit: gotta clarify that the time is in-rp. Obviously, there is no real life time limit on the response.))

As the conflict worsens, with Cimmerien detaining nationals from members of PACA, an unknown message was sent to the Cogorian government, at the same time Minister-Presidentc Staedtler finally lands in Scallendovia to sign the treaty. This letter concerns a surrender and peace talks held with them alone.

The letter is as follows:

OFFICIAL NOTE OF SURRENDER FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MINISTER-PRESIDENT OF CIMMERIEN

To the Cogorian government and member states of the PACA,

On behalf of the Minister-President of Cimmerien, I would like our nation to surrender in hopes of ending this conflict before it escalates further. While our government dislikes the existence of communism anywhere in the world, this was no excuse for our government to try to not only aggressively start a war to end communism, but to also try to wipe another sovereign nation off the map and to annex it. Therefore, I ask that peace talks be held in the nation of Cogoria, with only our two nations negotiating. We will also be willing to send a apology to each and every one of you, as I will be willing to take responsibility for the actions of our government. We will end the internment of nationals from each of nations effectively forthwith. We will pay any reparations to make up for our government's aggression. This conclues our note of surrender. On behalf of the Office of the Minister-President of the Cimmerian Kingdom, I apologize and take responsibility for the escalation of the conflict.

Signed,

William Brighton
Chancellor of His Majesty's Government
Kingdom of Cimmerien

As Prime Minister Jon Norberg read the letter on his desk, his face turned slightly sour. He was happy that they had stood down, but they had mobilized ships out to Cimmerien, just so that they could get there and have to turn around again.

"This has to be a ploy. It was signed on his behalf, but not him. This could be a conspiracy from within the Cimmerien government." said the PM.

"I suggest we continue our mobilization. If this does turn out to be true, we should deliver a demand to the Cimmerien government to cover the complete cost of our mobilization. We don't play games around here." said Foreign Minister Ken Lorge.

"And what if they don't pay the reparations? I am not a war mongering pig." said Jon.

"Let's play it by ear."

"Alright. I will get the MoFA on this."

Letter:
OFFICIAL RESPONSE TO THE CIMMERIEN GOVERNMENT:
Goyanean Ministry of Foreign Affairs

This letter is to inform the Cimmerien Government that the Imperial Republic of Goyanes will not stop its mobilization to the international waters off your nation, regardless of affiliation with PACA until we receive a letter signed by the Minister-President himself. The fact that we cannot confirm whether or not this is an official letter has made the Goyanean Statsraadet (Cabinet) decide to continue with the mobilization. Along with the re-confirmation, we demand reparations to the Imperial Goyanean Armed Forces for mobilization costs, and reparation to the citizens who you imprisoned and placed in internment camps.

Regards,
Ken Lorge
Goyanean Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Grand Federation, upon hearing of the Cimmerien surrender, has officially dissolved PACA. We implore Cogoria to accept the surrender, lest they find themselves at the end of Xentheridan sanctions.

However, the Grand Federation will be keeping its fleets active around the area, alert to any potential tricks from the belligerents, and also to begin to act against Scallendovia.

Monica Marconus, commander of the Cogorian Expeditionary Force. She quite liked how it sounded. She'd done her time in some truly devastating situations, but war had always scared her. This was not a real war, though - this was bringing unity to a broken nation! An aid response! She was ending a civil war, not perpetuating it. She tapped her fingers nervously, twitching, as she watched the seas rush past her. There was nothing to distract her. Not from her own tics, here - not until a strong hand placed itself on her shoulder. One of the two Tribune Latuses serving underneath her, Dr. Margarita Walsius. Here, aboard the ANVY Libra, was where Monica was basing her headquarters staff. There were two hundred of them. Two centuries under the command of Walsius to further Monica's interests. She had a sultry tone about her, something steadying of even Monica's shaky uncertainty.

"Are you looking forward to landfall?"

Monica visibly straightened up. Her hands steadied, as her breath slowed to an even pace. With her heartbeat came a smooth, rhythmic radio-friendly reply.

"I am. It will be good to put everyone to work. The Explorators, especially."

Margarita nodded, letting her hand fall lazily down Monica's arm. She sighed silently, taking in the sea breeze for a moment. "I believe Dr. d'Angelo will be up, soon. Her lover is on-duty, today." Looking out into the waves, Margarita quietly directed Monica's gaze to a distant shipping vessel, clearly on a heading towards Cogoria. Monica shook her head, her posture relaxing. "No, she is dealing with home affairs." Margarita quirked an eyebrow, as Monica paused. "She won't be attending our meeting with Gurgen. Correspondance with the Prince-Consul was requested this morning, so that they can draft an initial statement to the Cogorian public."

The August Consular Office
Consuls Johanna Jura & Varus Nascorus

Opinion by Consul Varus, joined by Consul Johanna

In recent days, investigations into the situation in Cogoria have raised serious questions about the affairs of Imperium's regional neighbours. With the declaration of war by Cimmerien and Scallendovia, it has become clear - the timing of the Cogorian civil war has been manipulated by a fifth column. August intelligence officers have issued a formal recommendation that it was a small minority of agitators in both the royalist and communist sides who have worked to precipitate tensions into outright conflict, likely working in conjunction with high-level defectors under ex-Minister Rakatov of the Cogorian Intelligence Directive. As a result, the August Consular Office is revising its opinion of the Cogorian Conflict.

During a sting operation by August counterintelligence operatives on August-owned properties in the region, evidence has been found as to a Scallendovian and Cimmerien intelligence network in close contact with assets known to be loyal to ex-Minister Rakatov. In tracing the digital trails of such assets, it has been found that fingerprint profiles of Scallendovian and Cimmerian operatives transiting through August-controlled businesses are duplicated in publications by high-ranking agitators in both the communist and royalist factions of the Cogorian Conflict. As a result, the August Consular Office is of the opinion that ex-Minister Rakatov was responsible for an attempted, but failed, coup of the state intelligence apparatus of Cogoria, utilizing some of its assets to agitate for a civil war that would allow the imposition of a Cimmerien and Scallendovian puppet regime headed by him.

Imperium has therefore decided to offer its assistance to Cogoria in cooperating on a mutual interest in counterintelligence operations. A number of operatives have been put at the disposal of the Cogorian state, for the purposes of coordinating a joint response to Cimmerien and Scallendovian espionage both in Cogoria and in the Pax Latina. To this end, Imperium will be working with both Cogoria and Kordova in the pursuit of its own national interest, to identify potential intelligence assets to be shared by the three actors.

[[OOC: The evidence is entirely fabricated, and the sting operation fictional.]]

3rd Naval Group, Classified Location.

It has been over 2 weeks since the 3rd Naval Group had arrived in Cogorian waters. They were recently informed of the surrender of Cimmerien and are overjoyed that they will be returning home. Lieutenant Dima Bukorov is aboard one of the ships and has told his sailors that they are finally going home.

"My Friends. Today, we get to go home. We will finally see the coast of Jacksonville once more. We congratulate everyone in our task force and everyone in the PACA for a job well done in countering the aggression that this nation put against Cogoria.", begins the Lt. "I have received a message from Acting President Yuri Nikosovich. It reads, 'Sailors of the 3rd Naval Group, be proud in the job you have done in defending the rights of a nation. Be proud of what you have done for a Jacksonian ally. I am proud and your nation is proud of you."

"Commander Ilvanya, let's set a course for home shall we?", says the Lt.

"I agree Lt. Admirals, set a course for Fernandina. I also wish to congratulate you on a job well done. This was excellent work by our force, even though it was short lived, we are all proud of the work you have done.", says the Commander.

The ships of the 3rd Naval Group set sail for home. They will have a long journey back to the Port of Fernandina, but they are more than excited to get back to Jacksonville, to their homes, to their wives and children and families. They hoist the Jacksonian flag to the top of the ships as they sail into the setting sun, never to be seen in these waters again.

Office of the President of the Council of the Republic.

Statement from Yuri Nikosovich:
My fellow citizens. It was only a day ago now that I warned you of the dangers of Cimmerien. Today, I announce that they have surrendered, following much international pressure and sanctions. When President Astanov decided to deploy the 3rd Naval Group,I was at first against it. I now realize that I was wrong. I applaud the work that the 3rd Naval Group did with our friends in the PACA. All people in the group did an excellent job in their support. I hope that you will join me in echoing these sentiments and that you will welcome back the 3rd Naval Group with open arms. Until such a time as tension has settled near Cimmerien, we will continue to implement our travel ban, but we will lift the trade restriction. Thank you.

Yuri Nikosovich,
Acting President and President of the Council of the Republic.

When the Kanadian missive proposing an alliance first arrived it was viewed with some suspicion, however as news broke of the Kanadian ambassador in Scallendovia being taken prisoner, all suspicions were put aside and the treaty signed. Within hours of ink being put to paper,Rifle divisions began to pour across the border n trains, heading for Kanadian ports and the awaiting ships, and the Red Banner fleet began it's journey north to link up with the Kanadians.

The letter from the Cimmerien government was recieved with trepidation. It read..... Wrong. It didn't feel like a surrender, it felt like a ruse. And it made sure that only the Cogorian government and the Cimmerien representative would be allowed negotiate. While Zhukov the Princess remained on the DCR for safety, they communicated to their ministers regarding the surrender. With contradictory intelligence coming from Aegis assets regarding the President of Cimmerien flying to Scallendovia, the consensus was that it was a ruse de gurre, but unwilling to abandon the rare position as the victim of aggression a response was penned and dispatched.

On behalf of the people of Cogoria, I thank you for uncovering the rot that had infected our nation and set our people against each other. There had long been suspicion inthe upper echelons of the Party that Ratakov had not been the most loyal of members, but to discover the extent of his treason is most concerning. A full investigation by the Chair's personal Security Department is currently underway, and we look forward to gaining the assistance of your nation in healing the wounds for which he and his co-conspirators are responsible. We anticipate the arrival of your experts in this field with great joy, as we seek to reconcile the rift in our nation. We shall once more with your help hear the deafening roar of "Cogoria United!" throughout the nation.

While the Chancellor is planning to send representatives to the nation of Cogoria, the Minister-President heads to the Scallendovian capital, when soon he receives this news frim his aide.

"Sir, there is a problem within the government."
"There shouldn't be."

"To hell with the f***ing treaty! Our nation is more important! SCREW THEM!!

The limo turns around and goes straight back to the airport. angered by the Chancellor offering a truce without his permission, he tries to contact him via email on his way back to the airport. Meanwhile, the Chancellor, William Brighton, prepares to send the representative envoys to Cogoria for negotiating with the Cogorians, while ordering that nationals in the internment camps be released.

The following envoys being sent to Cogoria:

After 72hours patrol of the four reconnaissance aircraft's sent to cogoria had arrived at the base in the coastline. MajGen order for another 10,000 reenforcement troops to make the base more secure and for total preparation for deployment. Chief of Air staff order the deployment of four airstrike to cogoria, and drop down over 30 missiles on one of the largest cogorian state. The battle continues" says MajGen Chris sitting down in his office.

Waiting for the arrival of cimmerien president, head of scallendovia intelligence officer came in.

Sir, we got a report from one of our officer

Mr president: What is that?

Officer: Cimmerien president arrived some hours ago.

Mr president: Where is he, he supposed to have been here

Officer: Our intelligence officer heard that he turned back to the airport and returned to cimmerien.

Mr president: Whatt!! Why? we supposed to have done this treaty since.

Officer: Ugh.

Mr president: OK , don't worry I will contact cimmerien government.

OK, sir, Officer left the office Mr president bow than his head thinking of how to get in contact with cimmerien president.

48hours later, another intelligence officer knock the door while mr president and minister of defense were both discussing. He came in with a report sent from the Anarchian government, and give it to Lord Emmanuel. He opened it and go through it ( reading )
letter:

Mr president: This is a shit,

Minister: Let me see sir

Mr president gave the letter to him to read, they both bow down their head and start thinking. Suddenly mr president raise up his head and took his phone sending a text message to head of Scallendovian DSS, ordering them to release Canadian ambassador and take him back to Canada with private jet compensating him and his family 1,000000spences ($). This is only what will can do "Say's mr president. Order request from the anarchist can't be done.

Minister: Sir, I forgot to tell this .

Mr president: what?

Minister: The Dorsettians is helping us taking the refugees, providing them all necessary facilities, and warn us not to move troops near his border again.

Mr president: Wow! That really good, how do you know that?

Minister: Our ambassador report an hours ago

Mr president: Ok, we are really glad about that.

Later in the day, after the deployment of the deployment of the four airstrike. A news report from cimmerien full the headlines in scallendovia, saying cimmerien government has sent a letter of Withdrawer to cogorian government. All scallendovia citizens started condemning mr president for stepping into the war.
MajGen Chris, connect with mr president on his phone, asking him did he know anything about the Withdrawer, mr president says he absent heard anything about it. This leads to conspiracy, and both blaming each other.

" we have been tricked", says MajGen Chris.

Thousands of civilians wave at the leaving ships, which ar filled to the brim with Cogoria troops. Many have never had some of the things that can be found on the ships, such as soft serve ice cream, make your own waffles, and other items. The Cogorians enjoy themselves, as much as they can. Because in a short time, Scallendovia's coast will approach, and they will unload onto the Higgins Landing Craft, and push ashore under a hail of gunfire, supported by the guns on the Kanadian ships. After they have established a beachhead, Kanadian and Cogorian Artillery units will move up. The commanders have went over the plane multiple times.
-------------------------------
A light rain is pitter-pattying across the wooden deck of the RKS Sean, a battleship and also the flagship of the SAA Kanadian Navy. Admiral Johanathan is leaning against the barrier. A private approaches.

"Hello, Private" Says the Admiral.

"Hi, Sir. I just wanted to tell you that we are getting close to Scall. We cannot enter until war is declared."

"Don't worry. We have that covered."
--------------------------
To the Scallendovian Government

I think that you believed that returning our ambassador makes everything okay. You are wrong. Making threats like that is immature, like whatever you do won't effect you. The ambassador may be safe, but the Kanadians still want blood. You must be taught a lesson. This letter is a declaration of war. I will see you when you sign the terms for surrender.

Gutt Lüch Duh,
The Kanadian Minister of Defense

After Kanadian ambassador has been released safely, the aircraft which has been deployed to lunch missiles on one cogoria state returned all troops stay standby before the arrival of cogoria naval. Later one of scallendovia intelligence officer brought a letter to MajGen Chris at the naval HQ in olive town, he read the letter and send it strait to mr president for decision. On getting to mr president, has he received the letter and finish reading it, he burst to laugh.

"This is insane, says mr president.
What else are this nukes looking for, declaring war on us. We won't surrender to those chaos.
================

Some hours later, Lt. Sam the leader of the base created alongside the coastline order all naval, army and air force to stay standby before cogorian troops arrive, telling them to prepared all Air-to-air missile, Air-to-surface missile, Anti-ballistic missile, Anti-satellite weapon, Anti-ship missile, Anti-submarine missile, Anti-tank guided missile, Land-attack missile, Surface-to-air missile , Surface-to-surface missile, Wire-guided missile, Cruise missiles, Air-launched cruise missile, Ground-launched cruise missile, Submarine-launched cruise missile, Tactical ballistic missile, Short-range ballistic missile, Theatre ballistic missile, Medium-range ballistic missile, Intermediate-range ballistic missile, Submarine-launched ballistic missile, Air-launched ballistic missile inorder to be lunched once they hear the arrival of the cogorian and Kanadian troops.
"This is going to be a great war, says Lt. Sam.

The Scallendovian missiles slammed into the residential areas of Oktobergrad, shattering entire apartment blocks. News crews covered the devastation in unnecessary detail, showing the broken bodies being dragged from the rubble, no detail was too gory. The images were then broadcast worldwide, especially to the troops due to land in Scallendovia, anything extra to inflame their anger was now seen as an asset.
Alongside the reports on the damage done by the missiles, a new story was being spun, to give a new narrative to the whole conflict. A story was being spread that the Princess had tried to sneak aboard one of the trains bound for the front, in disguise, in order to fight the foreign aggressors, the tale went that she was recognised and removed fromt he train, but gave a token to the men so that she might be on the field with them in spirit. While the tale was completely made up, it was having the desired effect, the hardline communists and the royalists had one thing in common, a love for the Motherland. All could identify with the Princess' desire to fight and defend the land they called home. Already a nickname was spreading among the armed forces "little Rodina", with many seeing her as the symbolic child that the Motherland would want them to protect.
The only images left out however were those of the intense efforts at the Oktobergrad reactor. One missile had destroyed the building housing the secondary coolant pump, and shaken a number of control rods out of their housing. The reactor's temperature was slowly rising and four battalions of sappers were sent to assist in bringing the situation under control.

The Cogorian army was packed in tight on board the Kanadian ships. 210,000 men keen to storm the foreign shores. They slept in companion ways, the mess decks and out on deck, exposed to the elements, getting seasick in the unfammiliar environment. On the Kanadian aircraft carriers, entire battalions were formed up and drilling, constantly watched by the amused Kanadian crews, unused to the foreign commands and the sheer number of men gathered under the one banner. News of the destruction in the Cogorian capitol had incensed the soldiers who were now chomping at the bit to begin the landings.
Days passed and eventually a thin grey sliver appeared on the horizon, slowly defining itself as the Scallendovian coast as the fleet drew closer. As the fleet approached it's stand off position, the Cogorian and Kanadian carriers began to launch their fighters, and the ships guns pointed towards the coast. Kanadian officers began to usher the Cogorian soldiers down cargo nets and into the waiting boats,it was here the first casualties were taken, unused to the equipment and operating at sea some men lost thei grips and fell into the sea or heavily onto the decks below. Eventually the boats were loaded, turning to the Scallendovian beaches they began the long run in. At the same time, the guns of the collected fleet roared out their challenge. With little time to coordinate the fleets fire plan, the massive shells struck the same targets often. Throughout the bombardment the Massive Oktobergrad remained silent, until with a growing rumble, a single missile leaped from her deck and screeched towards the beach. As it got close, the front disintegrated, showering the sand with hundreds of bomblets, blasting craters that would offer the infantry some semblance of cover. Above the advancing landing craft flew the combined airwings, ready to protect the vulnerable craft from enemy planes.
From the decks of the Cogorian fleet the Naval Infantry officers watched the operation unfolding with a slight pang of jealousy. Their companies were the only units trained for this kind of operation, and yet they were being held back in reserve. They knew the plan. But it still riled them to be forced to wait.

From the Cogorian Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence
To the International Community,
Cogoria faces a great trial of strength, as you read this communication, our soldiers will be fighting and dying in a war not of our making. Our very Nationhood is at stake, and our Identity as a people though fought over so recently is at risk to foreign perversions. The nation of Scallendovia has seen fit to seek war with Cogoria, and we have met force with force. However we cannot sustain this conflict. Throughout the years Cogoria has boasted of it's unmatched military, the numbers of our forces striking fear into the hearts of our enemies, but in recent years we have sought to follow the more peaceful path and have attempted to restrict our military in the aim of a more diplomatic based response to events at home and abroad. While this appeared to be the more favourable route at the time it has left the Cogorian armed forces in desperate need for supplies.
This is an appeal to the international community to help preserve the Cogorian state. We seek new trade with our neighbours and those further afield, we require te essential materials of war. Fuel, ammunition, grain and refined composite materials for electronic devices. In return we offer our vast raw material wealth, and our heavy industry manufacturing, in the hope that through this mutual trade we may pave the way for a more peaceful world upon the end of hostilities.
Those interested in such a trade may contact their local embassy, or lacking that foreign envoys shall be permitted to travel to the Diplomatic Contact Rig within the Phoenix Strait.
Signed by Minister Barishnikov
of Foreign Affairs on behalf of himself and his fellow ministers.

Monica breathed a sigh of relief. Landfall, finally. The ANVY Libra & Pisces were not immense ships, but they made an impact as they came into view of the Cogorian harbourfront. At about 25,000 tonnes a piece, they rivalled a decent-sized aircraft carrier, eschewing fixed wing aircraft and their paraphernalia for troops, launches, and rotary-wing helicopters. Together, they were a veritable floating operating base. As the ANVY Libra pushed forward towards the dock, a helicopter did the quick hop from Pisces carrying the force commander.

Stepping down from her helicopter, she was met with the unruly Exploratorial Service's best dressed. They'd all prepared for disembarking - they were entirely aware there was no war for them to join, not yet, but it was decided that it would be best for them to meet the Cogorians in full gear. The public relations war, you see. Command-level staff; senior officers, each wore a small pin. Issued by Prince Varus, they were obvious references to one he had received in Ilamzat, from a trade union speech, carrying Varus' initials and the symbol of the trade union. Monica adjusted hers, letting it sit cleanly on her lapel. Like her male compatriots, August troops did not wear ties.

Suddenly, standing from the crowd, came a stocky, gruff man. Poorly shaven and in the uniform of a common enlisted, it was his tattoos that identified him to any properly trained August serviceman - a Tribune Angustus from the eastern steppes. Gurgen Beridzus, teacher of rites. A virtual artist of train-the-trainer doctrine, he had learned under some of Imperium's most controversial military minds. Those who justified, planned, worshipped at the foot of August interventionism in foreign politics, were those who would have killed - quite literally - to be Gurgen's classmates in the schools of the plains and the fields and the mud and muck. In the tradition of his people, they did not wear August decorations and rank insignia. Instead, they had it tattooed. His people, through history, would have ripped such tattoos out should he ever be disgraced. Now, they simply marked over them with red, as a public shame.

But that was not a risk for Beridzus. Like many of his countrymen, he was devoted to the cause of war. If it was under Caesar? No skin off his nose. No chip off his shoulder. No, he extended his hand to Monica as a dear friend, under one crown, and she accepted in the same manner. As his grip firmed, her back straightened - the tension was almost palpable, as the Explorators saw before their ideas an awkward officer melt away into a staunch speaker for their beloved homeland. Her voice was smooth as butter, with the depth and clarity from years of leadership from the radio. The sort of thing that would smash through radio buzz.

"Comrades, today we see the lands of Cogoria. These are people who were just days ago those of a state torn asunder. We are here for one purpose - to remind them of their own state. I expect you all to serve.

800 troops will be disembarking from the ANVY Pisces to serve in the field. Your Maniple will be doing the same. From here on, your connection to Imperium is through the 1st Cogorian Censorial Cohort, under Lat. Dr. Miranda d'Angelo. Your goal is to train a commissary elite, with the purpose of convening a military political corp that will further our goals of holding up 'little Rodina' as a hero of the war in defense of Chairman Zhukov's revolution, and of the Cogorian people at large. In this capacity, you will help to disseminate material developed by the 1st Censorial Cohort in conjunction with the Cogorian government. You will also work to attach with and support the work of the 3rd through 5th Speculatorial Centuries in identifying individuals of interest within the Cogorian enlisted, and officer corps.

Further knowledge shall be proffered on a need-to-know basis to your commanding officers. You are dismissed until disembarkation."

Beridzus nodded his head slowly. His troops took the hint. Turning to Monica, he quirked an eyebrow and uncrossed his arms, showing her into a private room just off the helipad. "Who is little Rodina? The princess?" Monica shrugged. "A nickname that has caught on. The Cogorians have a report going on about the Princess being stopped from dispatching herself to the front - social media seems to be buzzing about the nickname "little Rodina". One of the Speculatorial spooks wrote a white paper on it being a diminuitive for Princess Rokotov."

Beridzus tweaked his chin. "A diminuitive?" Monica yawned, letting her eyes rest for a moment. "Yes - I spent much of this morning looking into it. They're framing her as a child of the motherland, worthy of protection. Seems to be effective."

Beridzus placed a hand on Monica's shoulder, raising an eyebrow. "If I know you, Mona, I know you would not mention it if you did not have an idea." Monica smiled. "Indeed. 'Little Rodina' is an easy way to find potential allies in the Cogorian forces.

It's not an item that can be used to visibly mark people, and to noticably discriminate against them. It will be harder to spot if those who happen to use the phrase 'Little Rodina' - on social media, in letters, in speech - are those who happen to be promoted to fill vacancies at home, left by less collaborative officers deployed to the most accursed posts at the front.

It is a convenient combination of communist tendencies and royalist sympathy. I intend to pitch the idea to our hosts -" as the sound of the ship's whistle pierced the air, marking the beginning of disembarkation preparations "- as soon as the ringing dies down."

Prime Minister Norberg opened a letter addressed by the Cogorian government. The people of Cogoria were requesting fuel and other supplies to defend their country from foreign aggressors. The government did not view Cogoria in the most favorable of lights, but there were innocent people who were going to get slaughtered. He spoke to the Statsraadet later that day, and they approved a decision to send supplies. Fuel, foodstuffs, weaponry, ammo, and more were to be airdropped over several runs to Cogoria. They also included a bonus, use of Goyanean missile shields over Cogoria, if so requested.

He reached for the black colored phone on his desk, neatly placed next to the ominous red colored phone. He dialed the number to reach Cogorian Chairman Zhukov. The phone rang, and finally, a deep voice said "Hello?"

Foreign Minister Ken Lorge was at his desk when his phone rang. One of the PM's aides had called him, saying that he was going to be taken to the Cogorian Diplomatic Rig for negotiations over supplies with Cogoria. That night he boarded a flight to Ceretis, where he would then take a helicopter to the rig.

These are your FRIENDS! They fight for FREEDOM!

Comrades! Imperium has for generations been the bastion of free and fair society! Where other nations have forced upon their population injustices without reckoning, Imperium has remained stoic in the face of Eastern capitalism. As a supporter of our friends and allies in the international left, Prince-Consul Varus has worked painstakingly to support the workers of Plembobria in taking control of their own destinies, learning from the class consciousness of Ilamzat and drawing parallels to Imperium's pink conservative traditions. Today, Cogoria faces the same hurdle that Imperium succeeded to jump so many decades ago, balancing carefully a Chairman who wishes to serve only people and state and a Princess who has gone so far as to risk not just throne but war in the defense of the Communist regime!

Yet, comrades, Cogoria cannot do it alone, for Cogoria has been beset upon by the heinous Cimmerien and Scallendovians! Cimmerien has surrendered to the patriotic forces of little Rodina, beloved daughter of her motherland and comrade of all the working women who would risk her own life at the front, and the heroic forces of Zhukov, going to war to protect their comrades and taking with them the reminder of the little Rodina who will bind them to their beloved revolution at the front! But Cogoria has called for OUR help against the Scallendovians! The crucible from which they are smithing their new home, with the help of two thousand August intelligence agents rooting out traitorous allies to the Scallendovians in the field, has taken the patriotic warheroes of Cogoria and has poured ingots that must now be beaten into a new state! You can provide the hammer with which Cogoria shall forge its future!

Your local governments are taking any and all donations for the Cause, to be spent at cost on August state-owned armaments and much-needed supplies to be sent to Cogoria. The investment-minded are encouraged to purchase war bonds, available immediately, whilst retailers accepting August state-owned debit cards will from here on allow you to make contributions to the Cause while buying your groceries!

As the war rises at the beach, over 45,056 refugees has been recorded fleeing to Sil Dorsett inorder to save their lives. As cogorian and Kanadian troops arrived at the beach making their first attacking killing over 75 troops and destroyed over 30 heavy weapons in the coastline. Lt Sam oder the troops to face and attack back and the destruction begins, launching Ground-launched cruise missile, Submarine-launched cruise missile, Tactical ballistic missile, Short-range ballistic missile, Theatre ballistic missile, Medium-range ballistic missile at cogorian troops the battle continued at the coast.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MajGen Chris at the Naval HQ, was in tension has he heard the arrival of cogorian troops at the beach, he quickly took his phone beside him on the table and call mr president telling him about the war at the beach. "What are we going to do to defend the coast, asking himself. He quickly left the office and went to met the chief of air staff at the base located in dominion city, on getting their, he tell chief of air staff to do all what he can to defend the coast. Later in the day him and other defense staffs headed back to the Naval HQ, at olive town, he then order five choppers to go and rescue all injured warriors at the beach, before sending reinforcements.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Some hours later, he then order the 38th battalion at Festal town sending over 10,000 soldiers along with tanks, armoured vehicles and drones including choppers carrying food and fuel to them and the battle continue.

As of today, The Equestrian Commonwealth has banned all travel between themselves and Scallendovia.

Effective immediately:
  • All current and future flights from Equestrian Commonwealth to Scallendovia are canceled.
  • All ground travel, including cars, trains, and public transport, are banned between Equestrian Commonwealth and Scallendovia.
  • Any vehicle arriving from Scallendovia with non-citizens aboard will be diverted.
  • All trade with Scallendovia has been halted.
*Equestrian Citizens already in Scallendovia may leave, but may not return.

In cooperation with the federal government, all Equestrian Airlines airplanes in Scallendovia have rescheduled for one-way trips to The Equestrian Commonwealth, and are only boarding Equestrian citizens.

7:22 PM, Dinsmark International Airport

The Captain looked to his partner after everyone was aboard. They shared a look of slight discomfort.

He pressed a button on his control column, activating the intercom.

"This is your captain speaking," he began, "please buckle your seatbelts and ensure your seat is in an upright position. In the event of an emergency, there are exits at the front and back of the aircraft, as well as emergency exits on the wings.

"This will be a direct flight to Canterlot, and we have ensured that we have enough fuel to make it without stopping. Due to the circumstances of this flight, all ticket costs will be covered by the Equestrian Government. Thank you for choosing Equestrian Airlines, and have a nice flight."

He then pressed another button, which activated his radio.

"Departure, Echo-Charlie-227 requesting take-off on runway oh-nine."
"227, cleared for take-off, runway oh-nine." The tower responded.
"Roger, Echo-Charlie-227."

The aircraft reached the end of the taxiway, and prepared to turn onto the assigned runway.

"Fire!" The captian yells.
The ship's guns fire.
"Reload!"
This has been the pattern for a while. All sailors are up on deck, operating the turrets. By the time the smoke has cleared, a new shell is in the chamber and the gun fires again, rocking the boat slightly.
Suddenly, a Scallendovian coastal gun's shell smashes into the deck, exploding into shrapnel. Blood splats across the wooden floor.
--------------------------------------
(Bridge of the Battleship RKS Compass, 1:42 P.M.)
A sailor runs up to the ship's commander. "Sir, we have suffered heavy damage on turret 2! Everyone inside the gun is dead!"
The commander looks up from his computer screen. "What!? How?"
"An enemy shell got a direct hit!" The sailor responds.
"Well then, get a repair crew on it."
"We will have to repair back at Calgary."
"What? It's that bad? My goodness. Fine, we leave tomorrow at noon. Until then, keep the other guns firing."
"Yes, sir."
--------------------------------------
Landing craft brings Kanadian Artillery to the beach. These mortars and cannons are set up on the frequent hills, giving extra support to the Cogorian Infantry.

The boats carrying the first wave ploughed through the waves crashing on the coast, almost as one the ramps dropped and the slaughter began. Platoons charged off the boats behind the red flags, doggedly advancing up the sand. Every step of the way soldiers fell. Whithering machinegun fire and cruise missiles tore bloody holes out of the advancing horde. Soon the piles of bodies built up and the sand was dyed red. it seemed the company commanders had no interest in flanking enemy positions but charged their men straight into the points of stiffest resistance. After an hour of fighting, the second wave had yet to deploy, and thousands lay dead on the beaches. As the bloody survivors lay broken on the Scallendovian shore, the first true objective of the invasion was complete, all those the intelligence agencies identified as threats to the stability of a united Cogoria were part of the first wave. Thousands of potential problems gunned down in service to the state.
Only when the generals aboard the Iron Pride desided that the deed was done, did the second wave begin the long dangerous run in ashore. As they made their way to the coast, the commissars began reading to their troops "Listen to these letters sent by Cogorian mothers...to their children at the front. Volodya, my child,I know that it's for our motherland-I know that it's for our motherland that you are giving your life. Everyone here knows that you will not fall back. Everyone here is proud of you. Your father is dead. Your brothers are dead. Avenge us on the hordes of Imperialists." A few boats were hit by missiles, sending flaming shards of metal and their former passengers flying through the air, those that made it though delivered waves of infantry. Making their way through the surf, and past the dead of the fist wave they attempted to break the Scallendovian lines, drawing in more of their reserves. reports were coming in from some of the bravest pilots of large bodies of men and armour heading to the beach. After gaining a foothold on the shore, the Cogorians began to dig in, anticipating the approaching onslaught. While the Cogorians entrenched, the Kanadians began to site artillery on the surrounding bluffs and reenforcing waves continued to pour onto the beach.

The port of Lupagrad was alive with chaotic activity when the Imperial ships moored. While they had their speeches and their battalions disembarked, a battalion of Cogorian political officers stood in parade ground order, a stationary island of un-moving men and women in the middle of the busiest supply port in the country. At their head a Colonel Petrenko waited patiently for their visitors to approach.

A few refugees coming across the border in anticipation of a war was of no concern to Sil Dorsett. There was little worry that there would be enough supplies to take care of a few thousand. Forty thousand, with no estimate of how long the war was going to last, was a massive problem that taxed the resources of aid organizations past the breaking point. There were now more refugees than the population of each the thirteen smallest townships. There was no getting around the problem. A plea to the international community was now a necessity to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe

Claidie's plea:
ZBjgwjR.png
To the governments of all nations,

The conflict between the governments of Cogoria and Scallendovia has brought pain and suffering to the civilian population, who through no fault of their own must now witness and experience the horrors of war or flee their country to preserve their lives. Over forty thousand have made the painful decision to abandon their homelands in hopes that they shall see peaceful days again.

However, while we have been accomodating to these refugees, the toll on our nation has been immense, and level of care we wish to provide is unsustainable. Not only will the quality of life for our guests begin to fall, but that of our own citizens as well if the conflict drags on for too long.

Therefore, I make this plea to the leaders of all nations and all international aid organizations. The Principality of Sil Dorsett is in need of humanitarian assistance, for the sake of what is right for all humanity regardless of nationality. We will graciously accept any supplies and admit all aid workers willing to sacrifice their time and talents to help those in need.

It is my hope that this war concludes quickly and diplomatically, and that the citizens of all nations impacted by this conflict can return to their homes in peace and know prosperity again.

Sincerely,

To: HRH Claidie, Princess of Sil Dorsett and Sariah Mesny of the The Blue Shield Agency of Sil Dorsett
From: President Catalin of the International Organization for Humanitarian Aid

I have received your plea and seeing that your nation has a Blue Shield Agency in operation, I have been made the point of contact for all future humanitarian relief operations between The Rose League and your nation. As such, I have been informed by Dogaressa Nightsong and Doge Holbach that the Rose Armed Forces have authorized a small portion of the Merilian Support Fleet to patrol the waters north of Cogoria. They have informed me that the Ministry of Merilian Affairs can re-direct my nations hospital ships, the R.S. Cúram and the R.S. Trócaire to your nation to help provide humanitarian relief. They each have an on board capacity of treating one thousand patients and are carrying humanitarian supplies such as temporary shelter, food and water. There is also the R.S. Eilín and the R.S. Sláine, two of my nations amphibious transport docks, and should your nation allow it, the International Organization for Humanitarian Aid is willing to establish a temporary forward operating base within your nation to help administer aid and relief. Should your nations and her people authorize this move, I shall inform Dogaressa Nightsong, Doge Holbach and the Ministry of Merilian Affairs who will dispatch the remainder of the amphibious transport docks to hook up with the temporary operating base and help provide additional humanitarian supplies.

Letter to the IOHA:

To President Catalin of the International Organization for Humanitarian Aid,

My desire is to help those who require our assistance regardless of their nation of origin and regardless of the costs. Therefore, I consent to the establishment of the IOHA forward operating base on Dorsettian lands.

Sincerely,

With HRH Claidie, Princess of Sil Dorsett giving The Rose League and the International Organization for Humanitarian Aid the authorization to set up a temporary forward operating base, Dogaressa Nightsong and Doge Holbach dispatched the remainder of the Eilín-class ships from their home ports in Kalti and Andalucia. The ships were to meet up with the R.S. Cúram, the R.S. Trócaire, the R.S. Eilín and the R.S. Sláine which overnight had been re-positioned and were now anchored off the coast of The Principality of Sil Dorsett. Among the four ships, they were capable of handling a decent number of those in need of aid and relief and yet would not have the resources needed for large scale humanitarian efforts until the remainder of the Eilín-class arrived with additional supplies. The crews on-board the R.S. Eilín and the R.S. Sláine quickly loaded up the four Aer-Stuáilte crafts with the ships with the materials needed to set up the temporary forward operating base. Once the crafts were loaded up, they headed to shore and over the next few hours the Merilian crews, both on land and on the ships, worked around the clock in getting the base set up and ferrying medical supplies, food, water and temporary shelter to shore where it was all sorted and then stored on the base. The V22-Raven's were also utilized in ferrying medical personnel from the hospital ships to the base so they could set up a medical station to treat minor wounds while the hospital ships would be used for more serious medical cases. By the end of the day, the temporary operating base was fully operational and had been given the name FOB Dian Cecht, named after the healing personification of the Lord [God].

Marshal Tomas of the Aid and Relief Corps (ARC), the lead officer in charge of FOB Dian Cecht, wrote a letter to both HRH Claidie, Princiess of Sil Dorsett and President Catalin of the International Organization for Humanitarian Aid informing them of their progress with administering humanitarian relief to the Scallendovian refugees who had fled their war ravaged homeland.
"Forward Operating Base Dian Cecht is up and operational with the majority of humanitarian supplies having been offloaded from the R.S. Eilín and the R.S. Sláine. We also brought over a number of the medical staff from the R.S. Cúram and the R.S. Trócaire who have set up a medical station here on land to quickly tend to the wounded. Should more serious medical care be needed, we have the V22-Raven's standing by to ferry refugees and medical staff between the base and the ships. And speaking of the ships, we have chosen to anchor them offshore instead of pulling into port. This was done more as a security measure on our part so we can ensure we only have people on board the ships who are part of the Merilian crew or are a refugee being treated for their medical issues. That and with Dogaressa Nightsong and Doge Holbach dispatching the remainder of the Eilín-class ships to meet up with the ships already here and more than triple our current supply stock, I felt that it was unnecessary to have that many ships docked in one of the Dorsettian ports. As of right now, FOB Dian Cecht can handle a few thousand refugees that are in need of medical care, food or water but once the remainder of the ships are on site, they will be carrying with them one of our new innovative products to help displaced families, a flat pack refugee shelter that have been designed to sleep five people (up to ten can be accommodated but will be cramped living conditions) and are equipped with windows, ventilation, a locking door and a solar panel linking to an LED light and mobile phone charger so they call home or keep in touch with relatives."

"Open fire! Commander shout.
Troops start gunning, setting ambush across the coast.

The commander order for communication radio " Eagle one' in, we are not capable of destroying them, they are too many, "Eagle one out. Has the commander heard the voice at the base in olive town, he then order the air commander to send four aircraft to the coast. Instantly, the aircraft were sent to drop missiles on Kanadian turret, droping over twelve missiles on cogorian and Kanadian troops and returned back to base.

"Go go go! Commander yells, troops are moving forward to face both troops and the gunning continues in the coast.

The Equestrian Airlines jet had already taken off was not very far away from the fighting in the airspace.

"Departure, Echo-Charlie-227 requesting permission to deviate 30 degrees left due to conflict." The captain requested.
"227, 30 degrees left approved."
"Roger, Echo-Charlie-227"
The captain activated the intercom as the plane started to bank. "This is your captain speaking. Please ensure your seatbelts are securely fastened at this time. Thank you."

Federal Republic of Iepraria
OFFICE OF THE PRIME-MINISTER

Statement on the humanitarian situation in the Principality of Sil Dorsett:

It has come to the attention of the Government of the Federal Republic of Iepraria that tens of thousands of refugees have moved to the Principality of Sil Dorsett as a result of the Cogoria-Scallendovia conflict.

The Principality has received those fleeing war and destruction with open arms, in a most noble act of kindness and humanity. However, that State was not prepared for the huge influx of refugees, being its human and material resources stretched to its limits.

We, therefore, offer to accommodate up to five thousand refugees within our borders, with the possibility of an increase in intake, if necessary.

Also consider the refugees fleeing into Sil Dorsett!

Student volunteers are now being recruited to travel to Sil Dorsett and assist in caring for Scallendovian refugees. Whilst Imperium contributes funds and supplies to the efforts of the Cogorian war against the Scallendovian, it is the hands and hearts of our people that must be contributed to the equally important task of assisting our Dorsettian friends. A scenic trip through the territory of Montani and our regional partner Arrandal, Dorsett is close and a unique experience for students in all disciplines to familiarize themselves with working abroad.

The August Government has created a Dorsettian Volunteer Service, to coordinate university and high school students wishing to conduct credit-earning work in Sil Dorsett. High school students will be called upon to provide menial and emotional support, whilst university students will be expected to work in much-needed positions cognate with their studies. Whilst the program is unpaid, the August Government will endeavour to compensate participants through meritious consideration in future studies and government work, as well as through long-term tuition waivers. Related costs will be covered.

Participants will, in addition to their work with the Dorsettian authorities, be expected to write on their experiences for assessment and use by the August government where appropriate, as well as to write informal correspondance to Scallendovian families and friends on behalf of refugees. Participants' correspondance will be bundled with Scallendovian mail, where permitted by the Sil Dorsettian authorities, and turned over to Sil Dorsettian authorities.

Lupagrad, Cogoria

"That will be the local political corps." Monica wrapped her chlamys shawl around her head, hoping to buffer herself against the chill winds. With a deft movement, Beridzus stepped forward to shield her from the breeze, taking her hands in his own. An unusual gesture, but not unexpected. Beridzus' people were familiar with the cold, and they had become used to physical closeness. As a friend, Monica had become used to letting him take the lead against the elements, enjoying the physical comforts he and her compatriots offered. A young lady manifest from the shadows, bowing her head respectfully as she carefully straightened her Censorial Service lapel pin. Without a word, Monica and Beridzus nodded their approval. Before Beridzus' slowly twisting face could burst forth in a jovial comment, Monica pulled her hands out of his, steering him by the shoulder to the lines of people preparing for disembarkation.

As Monica made small-chat with the officers managing the disembarkation, Beridzus silently selected some of those who he felt best represented Imperium - those who were looking their neatest, those who had the look of hard labour about them, and those who had honours from operations on the home front - for whilst they wore combat uniforms, they each also wore a chlamys on which they could display their honours, easily removed or discarded in the heat of battle. Moving them to the head of the group, he cleared his throat. Like many August officers, he was a reasonable overtone singer, and the melodic chord that issued from his throat was a foolproof way of identifying an August commander. An art developed by Beridzus' steppe brethren, it had been adopted by Neapolis during the days of pitched battle to differentiate themselves from the other citystates of the Latin League. With confederation, it had become the mainstay of the August officer's creative training.

Almost as one, the body of troops began the disembarking process, led by Beridzus and Monica. Their march was not overly drilled - it was not particularly in line, nor was it particularly directed. However, it was almost impressive in the manner by which the group, wholly disconnected as they were from each other, shared an innate rhythm. August military training was designed around independence, motivation, and agency on the field - their cooperation was not under a head, but by a shared pulse beating even between their blinking moments. Monica smiled to Beridzus, as he gave her a stern, military frown, letting her melt into the moment and shape herself into the commander that she was.

"Colonel Petrenko? I am Monica Marconus, Censorial Tribune Angustus, Commander of the Cogorian Expeditionary Force, and Acting Ambassador to Cogoria. Behind me, I have the 1st Exploratorial Maniple and its commander, Gurgen Beridzus, Exploratorial Tribune Angustus. We are the delegation from Imperium Augustum - it is our pleasure to meet you. You may use our first names, if you wish. It is considered polite in August parlay to speak informally with friends. Please, introduce us to your comrades."
