Overthinkers, a nation that has served
The West Pacific with distinction in various roles for nearly a decade;
Fondly recalling the beginning of Overthinkers’ career in the West Pacific Armed Forces (TWPAF) in 2016, where their commitment and military aptitude saw them rise swiftly to the rank of Captain and eventually Commander of TWPAF, undertaking a number of structural and operational changes that laid the groundwork for the success of TWPAF to this day, such as:
- Massively increasing the number of operations TWPAF undertook, creating a dynamic operations calendar and TWPAF roster, which improved the organization’s capability during operations and made them easier to document afterwards,
- Recruiting and training a large number of new officers and expanding TWPAF’s active officer corps from two to six, including among others future TWPAF leaders Aluminum Oxynitride and Teralyon,
- Overhauling TWPAF’s training materials as well as its military theme, including the re-introduction of the now-iconic pirate theme for which TWPAF is known across the world;
Rejoicing at Overthinkers’ contributions, both forward-facing and behind-the-scenes, to the security and administrative efficiency of the West Pacific, including:
- Serving four terms as the Minister of Recruitment and Citizenry, revamping the organizational structure of that ministry and setting up the West Pacific for long-term recruitment success,
- Bearing nearly sole responsibility for processing citizenship applications for over three years until their accession to the Delegacy, and continuing to process applications for some time after stepping down as Delegate,
- Serving as a Guardian of the West Pacific both before and after their term as Delegate, maintaining a high WA endorsement count and influence to safeguard the Delegate from threats and watching for suspicious nation activity;
Excited by Overthinkers’ commitment to improving procedures by highlighting their tenure as Speaker of the Hall of Nations, where they made structural reforms to the West Pacific’s citizenship tracking spreadsheet as well as its citizenship application forms, increasing the efficiency of a retention process with that beleaguers many regions;
Extolling Overthinkers’ monumental efforts as the West Pacific’s Minister of World Assembly Recruitment (WAR) across two appointments, during which a tremendous surge in activity occurred, including:
- A large increase in the number of resolutions written by and about West Pacificans: the Commendations of The Holy Principality of Saint Mark, Elegarth, and Bran Astor as well as the Condemnation of Wickedly evil people were all passed during their tenure,
- A jump in the rate of World Assembly nations endorsing the delegate from approximately 75% to as high as 90%, an outstandingly high rate, where it stayed consistently throughout and beyond Overthinkers’ tenure;
Saluting Overthinkers for their service as Delegate of the West Pacific, for which they hold the record for longest single term of any Delegate at 460 days, and during which they faced the global transition to Frontiers and Strongholds that drastically reduced the overall influence of the Pacifics; despite this, Overthinkers maintained a high endorsement rate and the West Pacific retained a high overall number of World Assembly nations through an outstanding agenda of new nation retention, encouraging involvement in both regional governance and the West Pacific’s storied cultural history;
Praising Overthinkers for their interventions in
Niamark and the United Regions Alliance (URA) through the proxy nation
Lycos; as Cyning of Niamark, Overthinkers stepped in during in a constitutional crisis brought on by the resignation of two URA Presidents in succession and successfully navigated the alliance through that transition;
Ecstatic at Overthinkers’ contributions to the community of Niamark itself, founding the region and relocating the community of Londinium to Niamark, as well as building new infrastructure, including an outsized foreign affairs and embassy network for a community of its size and a strong dispatch system;
Enshrining Overthinkers’ career, in their leader’s own words, as a “trail of spreadsheets” which enabled their colleagues and subordinates to do their jobs more easily and efficiently, and which has contributed massively to the West Pacific’s success in recruitment and engagement;
Concluding that few nations have left a more far-reaching and tangible impact on their home regions, and that Overthinkers’ commitment to lifting up those around them is a model worthy of recognition and emulation by other nations,
