Opening Address - September 2025
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues on thanks to a strong showing from outgoing Minister Pallaith, despite the mid-term turbulence of a sudden delegate and cabinet shake up. Continuing on from the successful establishment of the Treaty of Treasure Island and release of FA Digests, I am grateful for the opportunity to once against lead this Ministry and help shape its future in the ever changing modern NS environment. I do admit it has been a while since I have served the TNP executive in such an active role, however I am happy to serve when called upon and thankfully my schedule into the fall has cleared considerably (knocking on my wooden desk frantically). For those who may not have gotten the chance to meet me over the years, I generally run an open door policy for questions, comments, and all other forms of communications. I am reached quickest by discord DM, however if you ping me here, I will get to your communications (even if I don't like you, but I'll take my time).
My overarching vison for this term, beyond the policy I will faithfully execute for dear leader, is the elevation and further development of local talent. The core of any Ministry of Foreign Affairs is it's people - be it deputy ministers, diplomatic staffers, or ever vocal peanut gallerantarians. Through a combination of FA Digests, diplomatic postings, working group discussions, and work to-be-identified, I am confident future leadership will be identified to lead both the ministry and the region into the future. Of course, this begins with me officially reappointing @Cosmic as deputy minister, given their service to this Ministry and role in directly shaping its current state.
At this time, a roll call is unlikely, however I will be working through the staff listing to establish contact with as many diplomatic staff as possible. If you are interested in sharping your FA skills or assisting in guiding the future of TNP, please apply now!
God Bless
