The Security Council's statement in support of the nominee:
The Security Council has chosen to support Halsoni's application to the Security Council. Halsoni, colloquially known as Ruben, has demonstrated his passion and desire to see The North Pacific succeed through his exemplary public service, through his work as Minister of Communications, Vice Delegate, Chief of Staff, and, more recently, as the Acting Delegate. The region has also shown faith in his ability through his elections as Vice Delegate, and more recently as Delegate. We feel that Ruben's energy and commitment to the region bring fresh air to the Security Council. We've enjoyed a good working relationship with him and would like to welcome him into our ranks.

I'm not sure I love the idea of the incumbent delegate joining the SC during his term... but there's no real argument against his qualifications, so I'll be voting for this.
