The Security Council,

Acknowledging the history of Yessssss as a peaceful region founded by Testinginprogress with a small, but strong, native population,

Saddened by the invasion of fell creatures which deposed the native government led by Delegate Kakastania,

Inspired by the coalition of defenders and natives that rallied in great numbers to attempt to waylay the invasion,

Disappointed in the loss of the region, despite the fierce efforts of the counterstrike forces, leading to the complete destruction and refound on 15 August 2023,

Noting that the current iteration of Yessssss is not the same, even if it shares a name with the originally injuncted region,

Believing the Security Council has the responsibility to remove redundant Injunctions with the consent of the former natives,

Having the support of former natives to remove the Injunction,

Hereby Repeals SC#464: Injunct Yessssss.

Vote FOR Repeal “Injunct Yessssss”.

Overview
This proposal seeks to repeal the injunction of the region Yessssss. It starts out by detailing the beginning of the region, which a small native community called home. It then acknowledges an invasion of the region, which led to its destruction and refounding. Most importantly, it argues that since the region is not currently the same iteration as it once was, the injunction should be repealed, with the consent of the natives.

Recommendation
We find these points convincing. Since the region was refounded, the injunction no longer accurately represents the region it was passed for. In addition, there is native support for the repeal of this injunction. Furthermore, the injunction is currently completely useless and there is no compelling reason for why it should stay on the books of the Security Council.

Therefore, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote FOR “Repeal ‘Injunct Yessssss’”.

[Non-Cit] One of the co-authors here. This was written with the support of the former natives (link to the original thread where it was discussed is included), including the last former native Delegate before the region was raided, raised, and re-founded by BOM. The liberate was already repealed with native support, so this is just a continuation / finalization of those efforts.
