Well, I got a part-time job at a company called Spectrum.

The boss was OK, a guy called Colonel White.

He kept telling me, 'Silence when you speak to an officer'

First job they gave me was to go and check out a jungle area.

I was really hot.

I wasn't really looking where I was going.

And I fell in this bloody swamp!

So I get out of the swamp.

Then Cleopatra VII dives on me and her henchmen tie me up and then she releases one of her pet Cobras on me.

Who was called 'Ziggy'!

I thought I was a goner.

She then suddenly calls off the Cobra.

She smiles at me and says 'that would be too quick an end for you my dear'

She rolled her eyes at me.

So I picked them up and rolled them back.

'Time for a swim!' she shouted.

Her henchmen tied ballast to me that looked like stones but skull like.

They then threw me into a convenient lagoon that happened to be nearby.

I guess it was my lucky day as the sharks were pretty full from an earlier meal.

And they simply nibbled at the ropes and the ballast fell off.

They then swam away to go and watch 'Jaws' on the telly.

When I broke the surface of the water, you guessed it, Cleo and her cronies were waiting for me.

She didn't look impressed.

They hauled me out and she said menacingly 'Take him to the maze'.

They threw me into a room.

I shouted ' is this the best you got?'

Suddenly spikes started to protrude from the walls, which in turn started to close in towards me.

I used my pistol to shoot off some of the spikes.

I then made a brace and jammed it between the walls, this provided a space on the floor were I could lie down beneath the spikes.

The pressure of the wall brace must have overheated the motors of the wall closing mechanism, there was a strong smell of burning and then the walls stopped their movement and the door I was thrown through opened.

I found myself in a warehouse of some kind.

I walked cautiously.

There was no one in sight.

I walked close to some stacked crates.

When suddenly!...........

I instinctively dived out of the way.

That was close.

I could smell fuel and a fire.

I found the source of the fire, but silly me, I tripped over something.........

I was aware of something on fire falling towards me.

So I quickly rolled out of the way.

I managed to get out of the building.

But I was chased by Cleo and her henchmen in a tank to a cliff edge.

Luckily the fall wasn't too far, but the rockfall pinned me to the ground.

To add insult to injury, Cleo threw some dynamite to put and end to me.

Luckily I was able to stretch myself within reach of the dynamite and remove the fuse.

I was then able to slowly stretch and free myself from the rockfall.

Just in time to hear Cleo command her cronies to grab me.

Later, they took me to a local high rise building and without even saying goodbye, they shoved me off.

Luckily the ground broke my fall.

Suddenly a car appeared.

It was Colonel White.

He said 'need a lift Captain?'

I said 'I sure do sir!'

As we drove back to base I told him what a terrible day I had in detail and said 'I hope the pay is good'.

He shouted at me saying 'silence when you speak to an officer!'

And threw me out of the car.

Honestly some people! :lol:
