The Security Council,

Believing in each region's right to self determination, free from tyrannical rule by occupying forces,

Understanding that while Portugal de Esquerda's heydays are long past it, the region continues to serve as a gathering place for left-wing nations with a common linguistic identity,

Noting that Portugal de Esquerda has been the target of invasion by hostile fascist forces bent on turning the region into one of its prize colony regions,

Acknowledging that continued occupation will result in the permanent destruction of the region's role as a community hub, particularly wherein it pertains to Portugal de Esquerda's linguistic community,

Thankful that a Liberation can surmount the walls erected around Portugal de Esquerda by its invaders, once more opening the region's doors to like-minded nations and reknitting the cultural and ideological bonds of the region's inhabitants,

Hereby liberates Portugal de Esquerda

Overview
This proposal seeks to liberate Portugal de Esquerda, which was raided by The Eternal Order and The Appalachian Order, and is now locked by a password. The proposal notes that prior to the raid, the region was an active community hub, served as a gathering place for similarly left wing nations, and contained an active linguistic community.

Recommendation
Yet another peaceful region has been raided for the pure reason of making it a prized colony, and the region’s natives have been stripped of their ability to participate in a community with similar nations of language and political view. If the region is liberated, then the small community would have the ability to thrive again.For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote For the GA proposal at vote, "Liberate Portugal de Esquerda".
