In the land of hyumans and demi-hyumans, there lays a kingdom that houses both. This kingdom is called "Cypria", and while it is a monarchy, one could call it a theocracy. This is because of the kingdom’s policies revolving mostly around the church. Unfortunately, this causes friction between the hyumans, and the demi-hyumans due to the fact that there is some discrimination against the demi-hyumans. These actions are not legally sanctioned, nor are they sanctioned by the church, as legally speaking, hyumans and demi-hyumans are equal. Unfortunately, rampant corruption throughout the local levels of government makes it so that most instances are swept under the rug and ignored. This makes life for demi-hyumans living within the kingdom hard, and most live in remote villages where they are virtually untouched from the church’s influence. Cypria has existed as a nation since the year 2094 after the Unification Wars. As of now, in the year 3021, it has been ruled by one king, and the power of nobles over the monarchy has risen as that king ages. The church is also rising in power, but also is allying against most of the nobility’s new found power.

She first appeared in the form of a young Oni teen with a ghostly aura to her. She came to warn the village of an impending mudslide that would occur in the next twelve hours. When the people who greeted her returned from telling their tales to the elders, she was gone. It seemed that just as she appeared, she disappeared within a ghostly veil. Thankfully the elder's decided to revere her, and heeded the call of the Pagan Goddess, by evacuating the village. In the end, nearly 70% of the village was destroyed, but a major loss of life was averted thanks to her. From then on, the village would revere her as Naho, Pagan Goddess of the Dryad, and celebrated her in a festival and feast every year on the anniversary of the mudslide. It is said that she appears every year during the festival in the form that is shown above. That was until 4 years ago, when a large number of mages under a corrupt church cardinal set fire to the village and the surrounding forest. Naho did everything she could to save the village and the forest, but even she could only save 60% of the forest, with the village being almost completely destroyed. Seeking revenge, she traveled to the nearest city in search of the evil cardinal. When she eventually found him, she slayed him in his personal estate. After this traumatic experience concluded, she made it her mission to seek out those with corrupted minds in positions of power within the Holy Church of Edith. He can create masterful puzzles that come in many different ways to trick and confuse those who go against him, which eventually leads to their defeat in one way or another.
