Who are we?

The North Pacific Opposition Club is committed to ensuring The North Pacific remains a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. We fight to keep the Delegate's Government accountable for its actions, transparency for all Delegate's Government decisions, and that the Delegate's Government truly represents the voice of the people. The club is open for all people who want to fight for democracy and keep the Delegate's Government accountable.

Where we stand?

We stand with the people. Not the bureaucrats embedded in their long-term positions within the Delegate's Government promising change for the better with every term. Every individual has a voice and we are a club of people to represent that voice. United we stand, divided we fall. Delegate's Government has operated with a certain degree of freedom. Its important we fight to keep those certain degrees within what the legal framework allows.

Take action!

If the Delegate's Government is doing anything criminally wrong - File a Criminal Charge

If the Delegate's Government has violated your rights - File a Request for Review

If you would like to request information from closed channels - File a FOIA Request

If you have any questions for the Delegate's Government - Contact the Delegate

Vote!

The most important civic duty you can do to keep the Delegate's Government in check is to vote in The North Pacific elections!

We will update this below during any election periods in the region.

Join!

All applicants must contact Tim Kasto for information on how to join the opposition club.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything, contact Tim Kasto on NationStates.

Another day in beautiful paradise.

But there is no time to enjoy it right now. Since its formation, the Opposition Club (OC) has been hard at work recruiting new members and staying ever so vigilant against domestic threats to the democratic principles of our region. This brings me to the topic of discussion. Elections. Everyone in the North Pacific enjoys the elections whether you are a candidate for office or a voter doing your civic duty. The true moment of democracy, electing individuals to represent your voice in the government both at home and abroad.

The OC has recently come to discover that voters are being actively coerced to change their votes in the Vice Delegate RON towards reopening nominations. Clearly, there is some sort of covert operations being conducted against the current single candidate for the Vice Delegate position.

The first and most likely suspect in this ordeal is our current Delegate Pallaith also known as Ghost. Ever since Gorundu declared their run, Ghost has been critical of them and actively voicing their support for reopening nominations. We did not see something like this when Hulldom ran for Vice Delegate and was the only candidate. We did not see Ghost talking about reopening nominations because he knew he had Hulldom in his pocket considering he was his MoFA at the time. For an individual like me, it all appears that Ghost does not like the democratic process when it does not fit his vision or align with his goals. I bet if we reopen nominations, Ghost will manage to get someone close to him to run for the Vice Delegate role so he maintain influence over that elected office. This blatant behavior was clear in the recent request for review and the court's decision on it. Ghost and his cronies came out of the woodwork to very angrily complain about the court's decision simply because it did not fit their agenda. And honestly, I would not be too shocked to find Ghost as an advisor to the Delegate shortly after Hulldom secures a win just like he was the advisor for the plethora of Delegates before.

So I ask you not to listen to what they are telling you and make up your mind. You are the voter, you have rights. Don't let these despots dictate how you vote. The North Pacific thrives on debate and it appears the only debate they want to see is you agreeing with them.

What's your stance on oppening TNP Opposition Club chapters in other regions?

I was looking into the possibily of openning a chapter of hte TNP Opposition Club in TRR so that we can better oppose the influence of TNPers in the region, such as @Gorundu and @St George.

A Resurgence of the Opposition!

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): We recommend voting Kaschovia for Delegate
Long time, no see. The Opposition Club never really got disbanded. You can kill a man, stop an organization, but you can never end an idea. We are an idea. An idea for The North Pacific. A TNP that does not have to subscribe to the same decaying government. It had failed us, time and time again. All these fancy platforms preach about change but they are copy of a copy of a copy. The platforms change but the ideas don't. It might sound refreshing seeing what you want to see in a platform but don't be fooled. They promise change but once they are in the seat all they will focus on is the reelection. Chipoli has been in office for a long time. Why weren't these changes implemented then? Because laziness, lack of motivation, and dedication to the region. His entire campaign is a front! A front for Ghost to remain in the executive chambers of the government. Why is it every time you look back at the history of TNP, the same name resonates across the archives. Pallaith. Ghost. Because he is always behind the campaigns and the people. Manipulating his way inside. Offering humble advice, putting on a friendly masquerade, and getting what he always wants. All these promises of better promotion on gameside, bringing more people in, innovating on the old ways, more content, and everything is just a lie. All the delegates beforehand have come to the stage and gave us that exact same spiel. But are we stupid? We can see through that. Chipoli will be like the predecessor before him. Only appeasing the "Advisors". All of these advisors and still back to square one. Kaschovia is an independent individual. Who will bring something new. He does not have the grand old establishment behind him. We strongly recommend to vote for Kaschovia for Delegate.

Oh my. You should apologize to Kasch. Folks may not realize this is satire, and historically, negative campaigning in TNP has a way of backfiring.
