The Security Council (hereafter, “we” or “SC”) hereby declares and urges all member states ("nations" or "you") to bring joy to themselves and to their citizens ("thee") during festive seasons (and hereafter, defining the term "Christmas" to include all festive seasons across the multi-verse):

We don't want a lot for Christmas
Peace and joy is all we need
No more fights over C and C, R and D and RNTs
We just want raiders to cease
More citizens to say cheese
Make our wish come true
All we want for Christmas is you
(Have fun, yeah)

Just artwork that's legend'ry (and we)
Don't care about the zombies underneath the Christmas tree
We don't need our nuclear weapons - blowin’ up the human-ity
Challenges and sports make us happy - with a win on Christmas Day
Hippos can go on some dates

Present. This is my own resolution so by convention I will vote present.

Sing to the melody of "All I want for Christmas is you" by Walter Afanasieff, Mariah Carey as a parody.

Note: I've tried a few times singing this at home (alone and in a soundproof room, obviously) so the lyrics should actually work as a song.

Brackets indicate featuring/backup vocals. The comma after "C&C" is deliberate and indicates a break. There are quite a few half-notes: "challenges", "spreadin'" etc.

The hamsters refer to the server infrastructure of NationStates, obviously, and the lyrics' refer to the lights going out (as opposed to the parodied song talking about lighting up Christmas) refer (again obviously) to the outage we just had.
