This thread contains various aspects of the Trinnish military, their abilities, weaknesses and history.

E.V.A (Electronic Visual/Audio System):

The E.V.A (Electronic Visual/Audio) System is a C3I system undergoing implementation within the Trinnish Military, it allows commanders a real-time feed of information from their forces, including the status of vehicles, positioning of units, and can feed appropriate information back to units.

The E.V.A System has been in development since the late 2000s, and it has currently been implemented in numerous vehicles, such as Trinnish-built T-78 “Terfynwr” tanks, TTA-5 “Tarian” IFVs, and other lighter ground vehicles, alongside usage in the latest Ddraig Goch F.3 fighter jet, alongside next generation recon and attack drones, to assist squad information and provide CAS.

Some forces, notably the Experimental Combat Regiments (1 Exp and 2 Exp), are field testing an infantry version of the E.V.A suite, including GPS, biometrics, and communications facilities, alongside a HUD using AR technology for individual infantry members, which can be linked into a squad, and from there to the larger battlegroup.

The wide usage and versatility of the E.V.A System enables Trinnish commanders to get a wide view of the battlefield and take what would usually be separate areas of combat, and convert it into one unified battlespace, with a greater inter-unit and inter-service cooperation ability.

Barcud GR.7:

The Barcud GR.7 is a supersonic S/VTOL aircraft in use with the Awyrlu Trigeg and naval Braich Awyr y Fflyd on the sole carrier of the navy, the LFT Anorchfygol.

The Barcud is derived from the earlier Eryr series of VTOL aircraft, the most notable difference between the two being the replacement of the twin rear exhausts with a larger single exhaust, capable of afterburning to enable supersonic flight. The heat of the rear exhast engine, and the positioning of the exhaust and turbine lead to the aircraft’s unique twin boom tail.

The Barcud features forward swept wings, which gives the Barcud supreme manoeuvring ability, and its dramatically increased thrust from the prior Eryr enables ordinance loads similar to more conventional aircraft.

T-78 “Terfynwr” (Finaliser):

The T-78 is the current MBT of the Trinnish armed forces, developed as a joint project with other META-Aligned nations. Introduced in the late-2010s to Trinnish forces, it has seen rapid adoption after its successful testing phase with the 2nd Experimental Combat Regiment (Armoured) (2 Exp).

A Terfynwr in Trinnish service is usually armed with a stabilised 120mm L99 L/55 Smoothbore gun, Coaxial 7.62 L94A1 chain gun and 7.62 L8A2 machine gun attached to the commander’s optics. Both commander and gunner have thermal sights, with the driver being equipped with traditional night vision. Trinnish Terfynwrs also, notably use the EVA C3I system near universally, enabling advanced information sharing between friendly forces.

The hull of the vehicle is a fully welded aluminium core, encased within a shell of “Diysgog” ceramic composite armour, the exact composition and effectiveness of which is highly classified, and only available to other hull and turret manufacturers of the METAtank project. Additionally a Hard-Kill Active Protection System is mounted to the turret of the tank, and ERA packages are available to be fitted.

Power for the T-78 is provided by a Lloyd-Llew V12 multi-fuel Diesel engine, capable of 1,100hp. The vehicle has a rated top road speed of 70km/h, and a top offroad speed of 50km/h.

SGA-6 “Dymestl” (Tempest):

The SGA-6 “Dymstl” is the current SPAAG of the Trinnish Armed Forces, derived from the TTA-5 IFV, it is a heavily modified variant, replacing the entire turret and turret ring with a much larger unit, allowing it to mount twin 35mm L27 autocannons, giving it a immense rate of fire, additionally it carries a 360° search-and-track radar, capable of feeding information to the vehicle’s Fire Control System, enabling the vehicle to accurately aim at the vehicle. Other modifications include the removal of all dismount related equipment to store additional ammunition and provide space for the turret ring.

Much like its parent, the TTA-5, the SGA-6 has a 3 man crew, a Driver, Gunner and Commander, the Commander and Gunner both have control over the turret, and have independent optical systems. The vehicle also shares the TTA-5’s Lloyd-Llew V8 Diesel, however it has been uprated to 600bhp to help account for the heavier turret.

The SGA-6 saw introduction in 1994, and is manufactured by Cwmni Cynhyrchu Arfwisgoedd Trigeg, some units in the field have equipped MANPADs in order to increase its effectiveness, leading to a Trinnish program to either upgrade the SGA-6 to include SAM capabilities, or to replace it with a new SPAA which can.

TTA-5 “Tarian”:

The TTA-5 “Tarian” is the IFV of the Trinnish Armed Forces, it is a highly revised version of the TTA-4, incorporating composite plate and an upgraded weapon system.

The TTA-5 is equipped with a stabilised L22 30mm autocannon, with mounting for 1 “Gwaywffon” ATGM on either side of the turret. 7 dismounts are carried in the rear of the vehicle, with some of their equipment stowed on the outside of the vehicle.

The TTA-5 was introduced in 1990, initially with 2 Exp (Armoured) in a recon role, and rapidly being introduced to 1 Exp’s Armoured Infantry units to act as their primary IFV. It has since seen an upgrade to newer “Uchelfan” ATGMs featuring top attack and Fire and Forget capabilities, alongside an in-progress upgrade to TTA-5R (Rhwydweithio) with the ability to connect to the EVA network.

As with the TTA-4, and most other Trinnish armoured vehicles, the TTA-5 was produced by Cwmni Cynhyrchu Arfwisgoedd Trigeg, with most manufacturing located in Caebrith.
