Accord on Mass Telegrams
Category: Declaration | Type: Declare
Proposed by: the Nation of the People of the Nation | Onsite Topic
Note: Only votes from TNP WA nations and NPA personnel will be counted. If you do not meet these requirements, please add (non-WA) or something of that effect to your vote.The Security Council,
Recognizing that nations may send telegrams to other nations;
Irritated that some nations abuse this ability to send telegrams to every World Assembly Member in order to campaign for resolutions or entice nations to move regions;
Supporting the ability of nations to choose how to vote on individual resolutions and move regions free of the nuisance of unsolicited telegrams;
Hoping that nations will cease this practice;
Further recognizing that many regions rely on recruitment of new nations via telegram to maintain a steady population and that many proposal authors must send telegrams to WA Delegates to ensure their proposal reaches queue;
Clarifying that this declaration does not refer to either of these practices;
Hereby requests that mass telegrams sent in order to campaign for resolutions or entice nations to move regions not be sent to all World Assembly Members.
Voting Instructions:
- Vote For if you want the Delegate to vote For the resolution.
- Vote Against if you want the Delegate to vote Against the resolution.
- Vote Abstain if you want the Delegate to abstain from voting on this resolution.
- Vote Present if you are personally abstaining from this vote.
