THE MARCH OF MANKIND
ANTHEM OF THE GREATER SIEZON UNION
Set to the tune of Red Alert 3's "Soviet March"
The March of Mankind tramples its enemies;
imperialists, masters of slavery!
Perfidious xenos who would see Man in chains
shall never keep us from final victory!
Under the gray banner, Mankind shall not fall!
We march with Great Siezon, which unites all!
Our wise and brave marshals who know all things
shall lead Mankind to final liberation!
Yes, run, xenos, run, for your hour has come,
for Mankind's time of oppression is done!
Our grand military, commanding legions,
shall root you out and cast you away!
Rise up, Mankind, for the hour is near;
your liberator, Siezon Prime, is here!
To the cause of Mankind our faith shall remain,

STRUCTURE OF THE UNION GOVERNMENT
- the GSU is divided into Commissariats governed by Union Commissars, generals with an additional title and responsibilities granting them authority over other generals.
- the Commissars make up and report to the Union Supreme Council, a pseudo-legislative body made up of all Commissars and living ex-Commissars, as well as other important military officers and state bureaucrats, for the purposes of discussion and deliberation.
- said ex-Commissars hold the rank of Marshal and make up the much smaller Union Presidium, which dictates central directives for the Commissars - based on the deliberations of the wider Supreme Council and on their own internal deliberations - who in turn enforce said directives in their Commissariats.
- the Union Presidium also coordinates the central stratocratic state apparatus, and can elevate new Commissars and strip Commissars of their commands as well as move Union Military forces where necessary at will.
- the Union Presidium elects its chairman from amongst itself, who holds the rank of Grand Marshal as well as the Chairmanship of the Union Supreme Council as a whole; his colloquial title is Chairman of the Greater Siezon Union.
- if the Chairman does not die in office but rather retires, they hold the distinction of Honorary Grand Marshal, with the prestige of a Grand Marshal but no real command authority.
- the current Chairman of the Greater Siezon Union is Grand Marshal Corvus Dolan, who was elected to the office by the Presidium in 2946. Before becoming Chairman he personally oversaw the planning and construction of the Krayt Superstation on behalf of the Presidium, and would eventually preside over its first test as Chairman.
