Condemn Dilber
Category: Condemnation | Target: Dilber
Proposed by: A Melted Instant Pot Lid | Onsite Topic

The Security Council

NOTING that the World Assembly is a democratic institution

BELIEVING it should be a responsibility of the World Assembly to spread democracy even to those who don’t want it

HORRIFIED that the West Pacific under Dilber has become an undemocratic region with few of any elections

SHOCKED by the rampant corruption of Dilber allows even the selling of regional up-and-comers such as Varanius

CASUALLY OBJECTING to the raids conducted by the so called “West Pacific Armed Forces” and the damage to regional communities these individuals cause by changing WFEs

GASPING at the atrocities committed by Dilber against the eyes of regionmates

SOMEHOW STILL SHOCKED that Dilber has repeatedly taunted and bullied fellow nations such as Xoriet and Varanius even if the former completely deserves it

ASSERTING that these heinous actions can not be left unpunished

HEREBY condemns Dilber
Note: Only votes from TNP WA nations and NPA personnel will be counted. If you do not meet these requirements, please add (non-WA) or something of that effect to your vote.

Overview This proposal seeks to condemn the West Pacific’s Delegate, Dilber for a variety of shocking acts. To bolster their case, the proposal mockingly notes the “undemocratic nature” of the West alongside several inside jokes involving Varanius and Pacifican Xoriet. Finally, this proposal mentions the tag raiding efforts of the West Pacific Armed Forces and presents these as an affront to the communities affected.

Recommendation While jokes are always good and a dash of humor always makes for a good Security Council proposal, this proposal goes too far in terms of humor vs. actual content. This proposal presents very little in the way of tangible achievements which show why Dilber should be condemned.

For those reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against the Security Council resolution at vote, “Condemn Dilber”.

Someone commend this man!

Against.

- Present. I'm abstaining from this voting thread as given the experience I've received in The West Pacific region some of the claims mentioned are valid, however are not substantiated in detail to make a convincing argument to condemn Dibler. It is important to note however that the region does have a bad reputation for abusing thier power to eject and silence Nation-States on thier RMB and varouis other platforms.
-"It's not a promising sign when many nation-states that
are being condemned in the security council have a history originating from the West Pacific
."

Hopefully this resolution being raised will provoke Dibler and the West Pacific under him to dissuade from performing any actions that may lead to further backlash and condemnation.

Against. This resolution is as poorly written as the one that seeks to condemn the communist bloc.

As of 10:12 AM EDT, this proposal has received the necessary approvals to enter the formal queue. This proposal will enter the floor for voting in approximately 1 hour at Minor Update.

Against, inaccurate statement and poorly written.
Although democratic in nature (voting on proposals), the World Assembly doesn't necessarily exist to "spread democracy". The World Assembly is largely what the member nations make it to be with regards to the majority vote.
There is nothing directly stopping the World Assembly to revoke pro-democratic resolutions as well as begin to institute more autocratic forms of resolutions and legislature. In theory the organization could become a despot's playground.
