EMBASSY OVERVIEW:

The League is a user-created-region founded by Adawn and Quebecshire in April 2016. Quebecshire is the sole remaining founder, and today the region is governed by two principle institutions, the Consulate of the Republic and the Council of the Republic, and their subordinate institutions. This forum thread serves as The League's primary diplomatic outlet to The North Pacific since March 7th, 2021, when the two regions officially opened relations.

This embassy will host all relevant updates from The League regarding diplomacy, military affairs, and et cetera. This embassy is currently managed by Paleocacher on behalf of the Office of the Consulate in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs. For imminent inquiries, contact Chief Consul Terranihil or Director of Foreign Affairs Creeperopolis.

The League recognizes Korean-Joseon as the official diplomat of The North Pacific to The League.

Department of Foreign Affairs Update on Recent Events​

Director of Foreign Affairs Commentary on Military Affairs:

The Director of Foreign Affairs is pleased with the recent revival of The League's Defense Forces and is privileged to reiterate that The League is staunchly defender oriented. The Department of Foreign Affairs is committed to working with the Defense Forces and our allies to enhance defender interests in military affairs, diplomatic affairs, and the World Assembly Security Council.

Reestablishment of Diplomatic Relations with The Union of Democratic States:

Following a conference with leaders of the The Union of Democratic States, The League is proud to announce that diplomatic relations have been officially restored after a thirty day informal period. The two governments entered into an agreement, that will involve a three month period where The League will have a consulate on the UDS' forum and the UDS will have a Discord-embassy on The League's foreign affairs discord server. The Director of Foreign Affairs is pleased that the Consulate's negotiations with the leadership of the UDS have been so successful and looks forward to a working relationship with the UDS.

Opening of an Embassy in The East Pacific:

The League's Foreign Affairs Department have worked since February with the Office of the Consulate to reopen and rebuild diplomatic relations with The East Pacific, which has culminated in re-establishment of an onsite embassy, to which Diplomatic Agent Gjorka has been assigned.

On the Development of Sophia:

The League's Department of Foreign Affairs continues to support the development of the new region under the leadership of Tinhampton as Philosopher-Queen and President. The Director of Foreign Affairs is proud of our Defense Forces' operations in Sophia to help show support for our alliance with the region.

This month's Foreign Affairs Update discusses events from May to June including diplomatic appointments and governmental changes.

Among these changes are the appointment of Paleocacher as a Consul, the appointment of Creeperopolis as Director of Foreign Affairs, and the appointment of Terranihil as Chief Consul of the Republic following Consul Quebecshire's resignation to focus on military affairs. The government of The League has decided with the unanimous support of the Consulate and the Council that serious action must be taken following the unprovoked attack by raiders on our allied region Warzone Sandbox last night. To that end The League has declared war on several raider organizations that participated, the text can be found here.
