Know a region TNP should have relations with?

The leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is always looking for promising regions with which to establish diplomatic relations. We look for regions that are active, growing and are open for collaboration whether that be military, in the WA, cultural, or other. A forum embassy is a good way for us to start relationships if they produce regular publications. There are thousands of regions in NS and we can't possibly pay attention to them all! Do you know of a region with which TNP should establish relations? Keep in mind our requirements for a forum embassy here. If you have a region you think TNP should reach out to, simply fill in the form below and post it! You cannot represent TNP in any official capacity without explicit permission. Do not go out and ask regions to open relations with us or say that we will be opening relations with them. Do not go out and tell regions that you have suggested that we open relations with them.

After you post a region, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will bring it to the attention of the Senior Diplomats for the advice on the issue.

Brief Region Description: A democratic, tropical-themed region. Unusually, their delegate is elected by means of WA endorsements.
Do they have Discord or a forum? They use the Augustin Alliance server, as they are a member.
How did you learn about this region? I was a member for a while.
Why should we open relations with this region? They have similar values to us, including democracy and promotion of World Assembly activity. Their delegate, for example, has 129 endorsements. They are highly active in foreign affairs and already have embassies with other major regions.
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? I’d like to, but I don’t know if I should as I already have two postings :P

Region Name: The Western Isles
Brief Region Description: It is a medium-sized region (200 nations). They aren't fascist (weren't raided by TNPA or mentioned in the quorum raids statement, as far as I know). They are democratic.
Do they have Discord or a forum? They have no offsite forums. Instead, they use the NS forums. They have discord, but it's unnoficial.
How did you learn about this region? My alt Altrucois Isles is there, I was searching Capitalist regions and found that region.
Why should we open relations with this region? I think it's a preatty nice place with good people that are friendly to newcomers, we also share democracy.
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? Sure!

Region Name: Embassy Central
Brief Region Description: This region is a newer region that is a hub for other regions to converse. As this is not a traditional region, I wanted to ask for an exemption. There is no WA Delegate. There is a founder, and an Embassy Builder.
Do they have Discord or a forum? I believe that their main forum is the RMB.
How did you learn about this region? I learned about this region when I scrolled through polls.
Why should we open relations with this region? I believe that we should open relations with this region as it can let us communicate with multiple other regions and it may be a benefit to The North Pacific and the North Pacific Army.
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? Yes, I would like to. But I am not sure on how that would work as this is a hub for other regions. Possibly multiple ambassadors, I'm not sure.

Having a communication hub could potentially benefit The North Pacific as instead of having multiple exemptions for embassies, there would be this interregional hub where we could mass communicate to other regions that we would not generally have direct embassies with. The NPA may be benefited as they could get a larger scope of what is going on in other regions that we don't have embassies with.

Most regions that will have embassies with them are small, insignificant regions TNP doesn’t care about. And we don’t need an RMB hub - we have a gameplay forum thread and a foreign affairs ministry.

@jonathanm I definitely appreciate the suggestion. Something else to consider that Comfed didn't mention is that there are a number of regions claiming to be the successor to The Embassy (including some that have contacted me for embassies). The region that becomes the "new" The Embassy is too early to tell.

Precisely, I remember telegramming you about this issue with regions claiming to be a "remake" of The Embassy. They are generally small regions that aren't exactly notable.

Brief Region Description: They are a democratic, big (~360 nations), anti-fascist user created region founded on January 22nd 2019.
Do they have Discord or a forum? They have Discord and a webpage, but no forum.
How did you learn about this region? I was searching anti-fascist region.
Why should we open relations with this region? They are anti-fascist and democratic, just like us!
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? I'm neutral in this question. If I had no choice, yes, obviously.

Brief Region Description: They are a democratic, big (~200 nations), anti-fascist user created region founded on the 4th of July 2017. They are very active, specially on Discord.

How did you learn about this region? I placed my alt Sestigh here since it was a capitalist region and it had a lot of friendly people. I liked it a lot.
Why should we open relations with this region? They are anti-fascist and democratic, and have several activities like videogames, Roleplay and a replica of Eurovision Song Contest a collaboration between te Ministry of Culture and them would be interesting.
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? YES!

Enadia has some lingering OOC problems, I believe. In particular there was an incident where highly inappropriate content was posted on their discord server. They may have cleared it up though, so don’t quote me on that.

Why should we open relations with this region? We as the second biggest should have relations with the First biggest
Would you be willing to serve as Ambassador if we opened relations with them? YES
 
Unfortunately, the vast majority of nations in Chicken overlords are puppets of the founder.
