Prehistoric Times

Suri Archaeologists have found hominid specimens as far as 1 million years ago. The oldest one, named Vetelio meaning 'Old One', dates back to 1.12 mya. The first agricultural sites in Suristan have been dated to be from 7750 BCE. In such villages, bones of animals and buried humans have been found. Remaind of plants and remains of pots have been found. Some pots are painted with interesting patterns. These are deemed to be some kind of ritual pots. Some skeletons have been found with cut marks on bones and have been theorised to be either sacrificed people or people that underwent a ritual.

The first evidences of the use of bronze is from 2000 BCE. Some archaelogists have theorised that the use of tools may be older. Though there is no solid evidence for this. The next post tomorrow will describe the Prehistoric ages more
